Sure. Henry does affect others on the show. Carol (best talent on the show) and Ezekial (has the emotional chops) and Darryl (idk but he has the star power) and whisperer girl (she might have the chops needed idk.
But really? Enid. Nobody really cares about her or Tara in any real way that has ever shown up on the show and those that might care are so easy to just kill off ASAP in the next season and nobody would miss them either.
We could blah, blah, blah all day about reasons and why someone thinks I am wrong. But facts are the show has TOO MANY CHARACTERS. And they cut the worst 3 from the Main Cast and a few minor characters that most people couldn't name. Shock Value ZERO.

Tbh, the recent seasons of the show are kinda failing. The problem is that the cast has grown so much that they're killing off characters in droves. It's actually becoming less meaningful because of it. I mean, imagine how heart wrenching it would've been if only Henry died. The early seasons had a smaller cast and because of that they limited how often someone would die off, and that made it so they could fully capitalize on the sadness of that character's loss. Now they're killing off in such numbers that your sadness is split between several characters, which detracts from feeling sad about any specific character dying.

I about cried when I saw Enid, Tara and Henry I'm sure a lot of people didn't like Enid or Tara but I thought they were good characters Tara has been there since the main group was at the prison and was manipulated by the governor and for Enid there is back story where she and her parents were wondering around and then she had to watch her parents get eaten by walkers. Tara came across oceanside by accident and Enid was able to convince them to fighting against Negan and his group so my jaw dropped when I saw them Henry's death was hard because Carol became his mother figure and she has lost a lot

Use to love this show but I got halfway through season 7 and it just got so boring to me. I wish I would've kept watching but I found myself starting a new episode and turning it off 10 mins in cause I didn't care about any of the new characters they we're trying to incorporate. I love the old cast that remains and I thought Jeffrey Dean Morgan was amazing as negan however I hated the new people so much lol. Just my opinion though I know everyone else has differing opinions on this matter

I don't think alpha will last much past winter if that, she confines herself in a area once resources run out like wild game what are they going to eat? Since this takes place in the south which do a lot of civil war reenactments why aren't they using black powder guns they have a blacksmith shop to make a rifling bench to make barrels isn't all that hard, chicken pooh makes black powder plenty of dead car batteries with lead in them for ammo.

i wanted to see an actual ending how they died the order exc. for me personally ill miss ozzy, he was a badass which i missed after losing abraham in s7. negan will avenge franky cause she was one of his wives and negan is good for his wives. i just wanna see the whole fight and not just from how siddiq told the story. maybe in his flashback we get to see it completely but i doubt it.

I dont really know why all people say the whisperers are very brutal to kill 10 people. they killed them because hilltop broke the exchange deal and darryl killed several people of them while they crushed their base with zombies and in the fight with beta they killed even more. Personally I would kill those 10, too.

Really enjoying this season. I do have one question. How are people ok with the heads on spikes but was outraged' with season 7 ep 1 of walking dead with Negan killing off Glen and Abraham? I liked both scenes but just seems a little hypocritical to those that had an issue with the Glen and Abraham scene.

Made a bit mistake killing Ozzie, He was one of those characters which everyone loved and wanted to see more of him and his men. most of the new recruits are hard to warm too, not the least bit interesting, and they go an kill off a great character who was going to be interesting and entertaining.

Poor carol. Daryl is such a good person when it comes to comforting carol after her kids die. He wouldnt give up on her daughter Sofia. And when carol saw her daughter walk out of the barn as a walker Daryl was holding her. Then he was trying to block her from seeing dead Henry.
