What Rotten Tomatoes Reviews Are Saying About Shazam! Christian: Release the snyder cut. It was going to be Epic, but WB ruined his vision. I go to the movies to enjoy great and unique story telling (thats what is fun to me) MoS, BvS ( ultimate cut ) provided that. Dc (with Zack Snyder) were bringing a unique way to introduce thr heroes without trying to be Marvel (which i enjoy thr movies and how fun they are, but thats the Marvel Universe ) DC supposed to be a different universe. But now i feel that we got so used to Marvels fun-style-movies that we dont give a chance to build a different universe. And now Aquaman and Shazam look great but they feel more like the Marvel Formula thn a different universe. Hopefully WB releases the snyder cut for the few of us that actually loved the world snyder was building. When i watched his movies it always reminded me of the Game and Comic series INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US which it was dark and awesome. Its going to suck that i wont really see what could have been an EPIC movie told in many parts.

Snyder's vision was to be dark & griddy pre Justice League and then use Justice League part 1 as the transition from Dark to light (excluding Batman who only moved an inch towards the light, but Gotham movies take place before Justice League so I don't that matters for them anyways.
And Snyder planned all of this back in the early 2K10's. But his plans for Batman is to keep him dark & griddy even after the Justice League part 1 movie, so don't count on Batman movies being light, because Snyder said he will keep Batman movies dark, as his plan was for all excluding Batman to go from dark to light in Justice League part 1 for the DCEU.

DCU suffered from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight success. Other directors couldn't pull off nor innovate from Nolan's darker vision. Partly because the uit thought it was a formula other writers and directors could duplicate. Accountant types stuck in the numbers to duplicate formulas can have a blind spot for the human factor. The intelligence, sensitivity and nuanced judgement that comes with an authentic talent ENGAGED with its OWN voice. Can't duplicate an authentic voice and vision trying to build on someone else while innovating by mixing gimmicks & MIMICRY. And that was just 1 mistake of several.

I was fine with Batfleck, it was Zack Snyder's inconsistent storytelling and the betrayal of character that I loathed. And Snyder recently even tried to defend Batman killing people, uhhh you're missing the whole point of Batman my dude. I really hope Henry Cavill doesn't vacate the role of Superman, he deserves a second shot at portraying the character, hopefully with a writer and director that knows what he's doing. or she, I'm an equal opportunist here and so excited to see Patty Jenkins' WW 1984

I took my 7yr old son and wife and we all loved it! So many funny scenes and just a dash of scary. enough to scare my son a lil bit but not too much that it freaked him out for the rest of the movie. This flick had it all! I think the best part of this movie is that it shows kids what's important in life like family and friends as opposed to Captain Marvel whereas I felt almost nothing while watching it. I think we're going to have to go see it again once it releases officially April 5th.

First off if you're not a fan of comics you don't like the movies anyway. 2nd these movies not for you. We have enough drama and comic movies. You a hero I think you need to be trained by an expert not a kid. All the good reviews from nobobies in the comic realm. I think they don't like the otherside succeeding. This movie a miss for too much going on besides heroics. What up with the glowing suits. I glad they didn't do that to Aquaman.

I keep seeing how many people say that D. C is getting better than marvel and how marvel should get over Stan lee, but people, just remember that marvel was made in 2008 and has made 20 movies, How many movies has D. C made, (I had to search it up cuz Im not D. C) 7, FREAKING SEVEN AND D. C STARTED EARLIER THAT MARVEL. D. C still need to step up there game, and this aint the real captain marvel, yall need to stop saying that.

James wan is one of the greatest director in Horror movies & look what he did to Aquaman, very splendid. Peter Sefran is the Producer of Aquaman & Shazam! also The Conjuring & Annabelle, David F. Sanberg is a horror movies director of Lights Out & Annabelle: creation with both films praised by critics and earn well at the box office, why not Shazam! which is obviously gonna looks so cool

And thank goodness zack synder isn't directing DC movies anymore cause for years he was their main go to director for their movies and he loves making dark and gritty movies which really doesn't go well with superhero movies and now that DC got rid of him and started actually making fun and light movies people want to watch now the DC can be a success instead of a failure.

Thanks for posting this video! I ceased to be impressed by the rash of CGI-fests coming down the pike with mind numbing regularity, most of them caring more about special effects than people. I was prepared to ignore Shazam as just another of these, but it looks like fun, for a change! Let's hope it's only the first in a new trend.
