Who Will Be The Next MCU Big Bad After Thanos? Moviegeek89: Kang may be the next best villain to play into the MCU. Like Earth's use of the Tesseract in Capt. America 1 and The Avengers, Thanos began his real conquest to obtain the Infinity Stones. Likewise, now that the Avengers have meddled with time throughout Phase 3, Kang may now have become aware of 2023 Earth's awakening on this frontier. This I feel will be Avengers 4. Especially when you consider that without two of the strongest Avengers and no Infinity Stones, Kang may see an opportunity to invade Earth soon.
Galactus makes sense as the next threat for Phase 5 since we could establish a thriving Earth post Thanos and Kang. Captain Marvel can sense the coming of a force in the universe that has been consuming planets she has tried to save. This also gives us time to potentially establish the Fantastic 4 and the Silver Surfer. The surfer could be the best mid-credits character to document in all the movies during Phase 5.
For what I feel should be the final phase of the MCU (potentially 22-25 years, is Secret Wars. This storyline embodies everything about the morality or each character good and bad as well as to culminate how far these characters have come and how far Marvel has comes as well as a studio.

What they should do is make Annihilus the new Thanos build up villain. But while doing so, they should build extremely slow to the villain in the third set to the second set of film phases to come after Endgame. Where I'm getting at is Nemesis. It should be that Nemesis' life force (remanence of her suicidal death from another Universe) was driving Thanos to bring the six stones together and weaken the Universe by riding it of half it's life. Then her life force can drive Annihilus in the next three phases to acquire the Ego stone. Of course plans change a little due to Thanos' failure. Ultimately, she can be the driving force of all the evil that the MCU hero's have been contending with. And in the third Endgame like Avengers (the third set of three phases, Nemesis can finally step through the barrier from death to life. Then that new generation of Avengers will have the fight of their lives as all Universal entities will need to unite to take down Nemesis. I think it sounds good. It would secure an over all plan for the MCU to work on for years and years to come.

I think we all want to see Galactus.
All i know is there's SO MUCH possibilities and untapped characters we wont have to worry about Marvel movies dying out anythime soon. Heck, they could EASILY stretch it out for the next 50 years! which is shocking,
This poses an interesting question, since the begining of the super hero movie, the year 2000 is when it really took off with X-Men (blade which came out in 1998 was also a sick marvel movie but limited it's demographic due to it's age rating) the genre hasn't slowed down at all and bearing in mind the abundance of materials much of it still unused i don't see it going away unless people just get fed up with it and want something different.
The birth of movies we saw the cowboy genre dominate then action movies like Leathal Weapon, Die Hard, Stallone and Schwarzenegger movies dominate. Now, we are in the super hero movie age. I wonder what will be next.

Not Galactus! I love the character Galactus, my favorite of all. But he must not be the one replace Thanos. Galactus is a victim of circumstance, being undone by the Big Crunch in his Universe and reborn in ours. Galactus is a good opportunity to play on audiences emotions, as Galactus teeters back and forth on the moral spectrum. Hell, he was a good man in his Universe. He has been known as the restorer of worlds. So Galactus may make a good villain for a Guardians of the Galaxy or Avengers film, but not a massive Endgame like movie build up villain. The villain who should be given that honor is the ruthless interdimensional being Annihilus. Dormmamoh would also work, but he was abit under welming in Doctor Strange.

I totally forgot about this guy. But I'm thinking that the next big villain is The Magus. We know we're getting Adam Warlock eventually and because he didn't fight Thanos, who else is a big foe of his and the Avengers, The Magus which is basically his evil twin. This will probably introduce the cosmic cube which we were supposed to get first but hopefully now. This guy is totally a universal threat and even had history with Thanos in the comics.

I'm putting all bets on maestro not only would it heal the wound from banner and hulk becoming one but it would make a lot of sense and it would go deep into hulks story since he is a separate person and when you think about it the personality of hulk is still being suppressed as banners personality is controlling hulks body but what happens when hulk gets banners intelligence and getting his body back. Maestro is gonna be the big bad

I am hoping for Kang, but not him facing the avengers but rather some version of the infinity watch. Now the MCU version would not have the stones but they could form to protect the universe from the potential threats that the ancient one is referring to. With Kang being the ultimate villain in this next arc, much like Thanos. Makes some sense right? With Adam Warlock probably being introduced in the next Gotg.

This is how we should get Dr Doom, we first get him introduced like a small role for him like how we got Thanos introduced to us in Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 1, but you do it in the fantastic 4 movie, like what thanos got, but instead of him its doom and in avengers 5 or 6 we get another small cameo at a post credits scene and we can get him in phase 6

I feel like they should bring in the beyonder and start up secret wars which could be another multi part movie series and after they could have a reboot then wed get to see thanos again and the molecule man what really pisses me off tho is that the mcu thinks that thanos could easily be killed even though hes immortal
