Well people you can argue all you want, but from what I've been told by a friend who has done actual stunt-double work for a particular character (sorry can't name who right now) in the movie. It's not 'Ben Solo/Kylo Ren' at all. And his character, lets just say, isn't going to have much of a future. if any at all by the end of this movie.
In regards to 'Palpatine' he's not going to return in some of the ways that people online have theorized at all.
Sorry but that's all I can say for now.

Im calling it now:
Since Palpatine is still alive (if not physically, then perhaps an evil Force ghost) then its entirely possible that he created Rey much in the way that he created Anakin. If this is true, then Kylos reveal that her parents were nobody was correct. She literally has no parents. This would also mean that although she is not genetically related to Anakin, they were both created by The Force (or Midichlorians) making her essentially the same as a Skywalker, hence the title.

The new order could be not a name but a belief a new force power an ability to travel through time with the aid of a jedi master who is past on to a higher plane that means both sith and jedi can move their minds through time to a past life or even body's and bring the dead back those who are needed?
Skywalker Solo the lost child of Lea the twin bokther of Ren don't forget she and Like are twins
And that means the Rise Of Skywalker could mean a bigger story to come?

I wonder if they are going to do the whole 'accidental incest' thing again like they did with Luke and Leia?
Except this time they will reveal that Rey and Kylo are twins or at least siblings of some sort.
I mean they obviously didn't completely retcon the EU since they still used the story line where Leia and Han Solo's son became a Sith lord. Maybe they're going to reuse the whole twin angle as well, and reveal that Rey is Kylo's sister.

Simple, Anakin was the prophecy to bring balance to the force he was born by the force a trick Palpatine picked up from his master. The little boy seen at the end of the Last Jedi used force to bring the broom to him looking a lot like the kid on Tatooine so long ago, with the same background even a slave boy. Anakin I think has been reincarnated and that little boy is none other then Anakin him self this time to bring Balance to the galaxy.

considering the modern star wars movies have in most ways repeated the original series, that would make rey the leia character and as such she is leias twin baby sister of kylo/ben. rey was hidden at birth, just as leia was, to protect her. that's what explains kylos connection to rey just as luke had a connection to his sister and frequently communicated with her thru the force. the similarities go on and on.
