The Big Doctor Strange Plot Hole In Endgame Finally Explained Michelle: The Best Explanation Of All Time
( MCU )
Going back to the past won't \ will not change or affect the present and \ or the future.
There's hundreds or different version out but same meaning.
But 2014 Tanos was the final villain in Endgame ( MCU time 2023 ) because the Tanos of the main MCU time line was already headless ( 5 years ago ) So an earlier \ past version of Tanos found out that the Avenger from the future is trying to bring everyone back so the word YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE PRESENT \ FUTURE BY CHANGING THE PAST has an exemption ( what that? ) Don't let the past Tanos find out your plan!
So after the past Tanos found out everything he travel to literally and generally change the present and obviously the future. And that include Tanos and his entire army present and future since their from different time line who travel to the main MCU time line and change it. ( 2014 change the 2023 )
Wow MCU really did a good job of explaining that the Avengers time travel is different from what we've known.

It's kinda deep if you think about it:
Everything that Strange did after he saw all the possible outcomes and what he told everyone else to do after he saw the outcomes, was all for a reason.
Example: what if he hadn't have given the Time stone. Thanos could've still gotten it, snapped, la dee da dee da, Smart Hulk meets Ancient One. Smart Hulk wouldn't have the opportunity to say 'But Strange gave it up' or whatever it was, therefore leading to them not getting the Time Stone.
He also knew that Tony was going to die from snapping with the Infinity Stones on his hand. But in order for the Soul Stone to be there, he also knew that Black Widow was going to die.
Imagine if Doctor Strange hadn't saved Tony's life in Infinity War, when he traded the Time Stone. He did that so Tony could be alive because that's what the only winning outcome was.

It's a poor explaination. The whole doctor strange knew it wouldn't work.
Say i made a movie about how a guy needs to jump over a stick and by the end of it he built a bridge having seen the future and all possible outcomes. Now you can't just say oh my character saw the future and knew that jumping over the stick wouldn't work
Yea no, he could've just jumped over the stick, you can't say a method won't work because the movie says it doesn't work, the movie needs to explain why. By that logic there are no such thing as plot holes because any movie any be like oh it's implied only this method will work
Why didn't they just climb the walls in maze runner? Movie: Someone mentions it doesn't work but never explains why, it's just a movie's way of getting out of shitty plot holes. Oh we say nothing else will work so there's no plot hole. Makes no sense.

Yeah, Strange had seen everything, and it doesnt work. That is, if you assume what Strange say is true. How about a plot twist. 14mil possibilities is actually a lie. Thats just a careful script that Strange say and act out to make Tony do what he do, and everything as Strange wanted. Basically Strange can see many possibilities and just choose which favors him the most. As long as yet the reality is protected, no time stone, no problem. So he simply plays a script that he doesn't need to take care of the time stone(thanos destroyed one in the original time line, the other is returned) yet, realm is protected. He also return to earth resurrected. And finally send the chattering animal to rest. Brilliant Doctor Strange. Everything at his will.

Summing up debunked plot holes, for fun:
1) Cut Thanos arm or head off. Can't be done with melee or energy weapon - while Thanos is omnipotent -> power stone.
2) Cut him with portal based weapon. Can't be done while Thanos is omnipresent-> space stone
3) Defeat him with magic. Can't be done when Thanos controls all reality -> reality stone.
4) Kill him. Can't be done while Thanos is immortal -> soul stone
5) Freeze time, reverse time, age him foward in time -> can't be done when Thanos can
a) move thru space regardless of time, [space stone]
b) or create a pocket reality where time does not exist [reality stone]
The above post covers 99% of the redundant posts in this thread. feel free to challenge. :)

So here is a question regarding Dr. Strange knowing the end result. The Ancient One could not see past her own death, so let's assume Dr. Strange cannot see past his own death either. Dr Strange could see the outcome of EndGames because he was not permanently dead in this time line. He said this was the only outcome that the Avengers could win of the 14million he saw. So Strange says he viewed 14million605 futures, Stark asked him how many they won, Strange says 1. In order for Strange to know they won, he would have had to survived. The more accurate statement here is that of the 14million605 futures that Strange viewed there was only one that Strange survives AND they won. We don't know how many they win if Strange dies?

If you add up all the damn theories the fans made up, it would eventually add up to more than 14 million, and then the Dr Strange saw it and it didn't work wouldn't work anymore. Still. I'd like to hear what their explanation for questions such as What if after bringing in all the armies Dr Strange portaled Thanos straight into the sun? Why won't that work? He don't have the gauntlet anymore so he can't use the Space stone to escape. Thanos of the final battle only has raw physical strength. Wanda and Captain Marvel almost got him, but they got attacked so they failed at the last minute.

The big Dr. Strange takeaway for me was that his apology to Tony in Infinity War becomes, in retrospect, I'm sorry that you have to die for the universe to be saved. And yes, Strange's visions of the future answer lots of questions before they are even asked, such as (ironically I'm going to pose the question) How did Dr. Strange know exactly when to show up with all those heroes and armies? He'd already seen himself do it, of course, and was probably conserving his magical strength up to that time so he could pull it off.

How did DR Stranges teleportation work across galaxies? Its only been depicted to work on whatever planet he is on in that moment. So how did he get the guardians and spiderman back to earth from Titan? I ask because they could have teleported back to earth anytime to help the Wakanda team fight. but he couldn't. And he asked Stark can you turn this thing around. Twice. on Ebony Maws ship. He could just teleport back to earth and not ask Tony to turn the doughnut space ship around.

I understand captain marvel was patrolling the galaxy and you have the brightest minds to travel back in time with yet the result ended with Iron Mans death which Im so saddened and frustrated in. I think this could have been prevented if the team would have made a simple call to captain marvel that hey we need you to travel back in time with us to retrieve the infinity stones. So, why didnt the producers include Captain Marvel to travel back in time?
