Why The Internet Isn't Happy With Game Of Thrones Episode 4
video description
In my opinion, the death of Khal Drogo, Viserys, Rhaego, Viserion, Missandei, Jorah, and Rhaegal wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the Game of Thrones. Like Cersei said; when you play The Game of Thrones you win or you die.
For instance, I think Daenerys destroyed King's Landing to END the war between all noble houses. Like she said before; I am not going to stop the wheel (which is the wheel of the noble houses sitting on the Iron Throne. She did not want to stop the wheel at Targaryen's point) I'm going to BREAK the wheel.
She had a vision in the House of Undying; King's Landing destroyed as snow fell from the sky. I thought it's what's gonna happen if the Night King wins. But I think those were actually ashes.
The Game of Thrones deserve to end.
Bran no longer deserves the Iron Throne.
No one deserves the Iron Throne.
Dany has to end it all.

The only valid quibble is that they are rushing thru complex events compared to the glacial pace the show ran at for 6 years. Other than that, I dont care how many pet theories and expectations get thwarted. thats been the entire point of the whole show. Dany was Never a savior- freeing slaves was an effective strategy to get an army she didnt have. At every step shes shown a morbid fascination with the idea of burning people-and has only been held in check thru the efforts of her trusted advisors, most of whom are now dead, or she has lost faith in. Her only goal has ever been to exact retribution for her crown being taken. And everything the fans saw in her was never really there- its a lesson in the folly of placing faith in any ruler. Or any god. Or any prophecy. We all tend to see what we WANT to be true, and not what actually is true.

As fans we need to stick together and not let these major outlets and casual fans demean our opinions and grivences. If theres no accountability then shows will forever ruin themselves with bad writing. No one is ever going to argue that game of thrones is a terrible show by no means infact season 8 if you put into context is a GOOD show but compared to the AMAZING seasons 1-4, decentish season 5 and good season 6 and slightly dissapointing season 7 its hard to not feel disappointed. Its not entitlement, its not that our expectations were too high. If fans with zero professional writing experience can come up with better ideas and storylines then we have the right to be upset over the poor character development and rushed production.

WHAT WENT WRONG? WELL? For starters maybe if the writing was coherent and not random.
It is like writers are adjusting characters, common sense and the entire physical world(artificial randomness) in order to create the outcome they want. Of course, this is justified when you write a story to a certain degree and withing coherence with the world and characters, but when you are adjusting too much in order to get the result you want it is simply really bad writing. Right now it feels like every situation is random to the viewer WHY? Because the writing is NOT COHERENT! Characters suddenly change, scorpions are sometimes great at taking dragons and sometimes useless, etc.

Game of thrones fans.
Episode 3: not enough deaths, why did heaps of main characters survive
Episode 4: oh no, they shouldn't have died like that, oh they killed her too, she deserved better.
Yada Yada Yada. EP 4 to me felt like classic thrones. Politics and conspiracies, beheadings, shocking moments of death that you don't expect (rhagal) and even some classic fun at the start. All wrapped up with Dani fuming at it all. They need the tension between her and the group and Jon as she is now gonna lose HER SHIT on episode 5.
Such a good EP. People should stop windging. Lol

Sulking, stamping their feet, and setting the internet ablaze with their criticisms.
So we're all described as toddlers because a show that has been well orchestrated earlier on and been with us for 10 years was so poorly and horribly ran straight down into the ground this last season? A season which they had TWO YEARS to get right, but yet only filmed 6 episodes, only 4 of which are just BARELY over the normal run time of an hour long? Lol Ok yeah, that makes me a toddler by description then for my sheer disgust with what they've done to this great story. GTFO.

There's no denying the first two thirds of the final season is ending weakly. There were great moments, but it's not great. In GoTs defense though- many series have a couple weaker seasons (ie Dexter, Oz, AHS) but kept the integrity of the series. Its amazing GoT kept the momentum consistently great over the years like it did. Losing steam at the end is forgivable even though undesirable. But we still have two more episodes.

Dany is furious with Cersei for beheading her friend, and every GOT fan in the world is even more furious with D&D for debraining the series at the end. And also mad at Martin, because he signed off on this disappointing ending and probably even wrote it. GOT fans are mad at the world. Two more episodes? The fans are not expecting the rabbit to be pulled out of the hat at this point, they are expecting a great big Weasel.

When are these whiney little idiots going to read between the lines there's a reason they wrote the final season like this. Am I the only one on earth who got it, some of what's happened where the charaters are concerned would happen in real life so don't look for happyness and merryment it's not going to happen. I know I will probably get a lot of hate for this but I don't care.
