Nope, prequels are the absolute laziest way to cash in on a film property. We just have to live with the fact that Game of Thrones was ultimately destroyed and the two st bags who lazily destroyed it very possibly ruined their careers with us who saw what they did. The best conclusion should of been the battle in Winterfell retreated to Kings Landing then the ultimate battle with the Whitewalkers take place. Daenerys rules the South with one dragon and John rule the North with the other dragon (and Ghost, his direwolf, shared rulership under Targaryen rule but in peace.

Nope, prequels are the absolute laziest way to cash in on a film property. We just have to live with the fact that Game of Thrones was ultimately destroyed and the two st bags who lazily destroyed it very possibly ruined their careers with us who saw what they did. The only reason fans even watched the last season of Game of Thrones was because the Lannisters were interesting. No one wants to see Arya dumb shit exploring the west. The whole reason Arya is a fan favorite in the first place is that she has amazing dialogue with The Hound and Tywin Lannister. The reason we love GOT is because of its Politics, not that it has cringe characters who want to explore different worlds

I like how it ended. Not a cliche hero always winning. It needed this downfall, so it can have unsolved questions for a spinoff (George RR martyn directing it and in production already) and laterrrr the return of game of thrones. It's like Star Wars but a show. People like to see everything in one punch. Let the mystery do its nature, so it can keep us anxious for what it's coming.

You want a great SF series. Foreigner, by C J Cherryh. 18 standalone novels done, written in trilogy format, book 19 done, 20 half done, 21 in the works. And guess what? Deadlines and commitments pretty much KEPT. Take that, GRRM! BTW, I've read all the series multiple times, except the latest trilogy. They Are Good! Adapting for TV/Film would be a wonderful thing to behold.

If you haven't seen it there is apparently a leaked original script of the way season 8 was supposed to go. Due to the leak d&d changed everything. I don't know if it is legitimate but Google it as after reading the plan it is such a better season than we got. Has proper game of thrones with the sort of deaths we expected.

I'm rewatching got with someone cause they haven't watched it and honestly made me realize how lazy G. O. T writers were sm shit that just ghosted and some had no conclusion and how dumb they killed of some of our fav Characters and how dumb they made our characters do the wrong thing but ahhh love the show still

If he's had time to write all these other books why didn't he finish GOT since it was being aired on TV. Makes no sense, what so ever, and a big mistake. Lost a lot of fans. Many many negative comments, I've read a lot of them. And I agree with the lot, terrible ending, really screwed it up.

Game of thrones will forever be the greatest show I've ever watched. It's not even fair to compare it to anything else. I definitely wouldn't want it to go on so long that it becomes stale, but at the same time i still wish it wasn't over.
