The original can't be beat, that being said, this remake was actually terrifying to me. An artificial intelligence intent on only trying to befriend and entertain a CHILD, and ends up becoming indifferent to violence, murder, torture, stalking, and killing the ONE person he imprinted on, let that sink in. A being that IMPRINTS on a child ends up trying to MURDER him, after unable to befriend him or make him have fun.

At that moment that Buddi doll crossed a line from rogue AI into a being judging a HUMAN. THATS MODERN TERROR.

Yo at first before i go and watch it i saw the new chucky and was really disappointed. But i end up watching it anyway and the movie was actually pretty good too. Not gonna lie, expect for the new chucky. The way it's directed and shown is really impressing. I really recommend watching it, if you're not comfortable with the new chucky, well that's fine. It's your own decision if you'll watch it or no. :)

Wsit their was 7 i thought it was first two as a kid/ then next is a teenager at bootcamp was the 3rd/then then the one as adult i think and its 4th/then bride chucky wit his kid/then cheap netflix made like a year or two ago dont count so the next movie Whigh is out right now is the 5th/ so what am i missing how is it seven? let me know so i can catch up befor i go see it next week

i personally thought the new one was so much scarier because it's actually very possible and realistic that something like that could happen in the near future. the voodoo stuff just didn't seem realistic to me. don't get me wrong i love the old child's play movies, but the new one is great too in its own way.

It's actually understanding if they went in a new way. Chucky is supposed to be a horror movie but since the first child's play to the seed of Chucky, it went from horror to comedy. Having a new crew work on it MIGHT be good but sometimes things should just be left as a memory.

I saw it on Amazon out of pure boredom. And wow is it ever bad. The kids like 17 years old and his Mom's 23. How dose that make sense? And so many fake toy looking plastic props I can't stand it. Bad acting, bad writing and terrible concept. Even Mark sounds lame as Chuck.

Honestly Im a huge fan of the original chucky movies one of my favorite horror icons but I cant even lie I really enjoyed this new movie mark hamill killed it! Just sad that some og member werent on board with the new film

I get the fact that literally everyone likes the original. And I agree!

The movie was good its a better spin than the demonic voodoo shit that old chucky was that was why he was creepy and because he was a killer, besides not like anyone else could have done better
