Questions That Zombie Movies Never Answer

Some zombie movies are better thought out than others. Those showing naked skulls with undecayed eyeballs don't make sense.
Herd formation is easily explained. Let's say you've got a thousand zombies scattered randomly around an area. They spot a live human who runs while shooting at them, making a lot of noise. Now all of a sudden zombies from all around converge toward the human who either dies or escapes. What's left behind? A herd of zombies. Or maybe a helicopter flies low overhead and zombies from miles around see/hear/sense it and converge in an attempt to follow it. Such herds would eventually disperse unless something grabs their attention.
That brings us to the next possible herding factor. Let's say there's a really HUGE herd of zombies and someone attracts the attention of a few of those zombies at the very edge of the herd. Like a domino effect even zombies that can't see the human see other zombies rushing towards an area and rush there as well, hoping for a meal. The other zombies see those zombies move and follow, etc.
Really you have to explain zombie decay as superficial and cosmetic with whatever makes them tick remaining and keeping them active, otherwise they would just fall apart eventually. They also have to be immune to fly maggots which would eat them to the bone if they were normal half-decayed meat.

The Walking Dead starts after Rick wakes from a weeks long coma in the hospital so we start the show from HIS perspective (like 28 Days Later. An early flashback shows his wife and friend trying to check social media/internet for information but getting nothing. Fear the Walking Dead actually has the first few episodes with main characters extensively using social media, Alicia and her friends are checking out a video of a walker in the very early days of the infection before it became a major concern. (IMO, said social media actually desensitized people and had them thinking it was a hoax rather than the threat it was.
Re: blood infecting the living. Duh, The Walking Dead. Everyone is already frigging infected and they'll turn automatically when they die. Being bitten or soaked in walker blood with a large wound will hasten the change while still alive, starting with a fever and raging infection.
I Am Legend, the infected aren't dead, they're infected/mutated by the virus that Smith's character helped create (which was created initially to cure cancer.

Zombies, such as those shown in the walking dead, are not the same as infected as shown in 28 days later. Infected always derive from a virus, bacteria, parasite or even a prion and do not die to become ravenous freaks. Zombies die and come back which ties to its roots of voodoo. Wow such gaming does a really good comparison of the two and explains why they are different. Pretty much everything in this video can be explained with a little bit of extra thought. For example the zombie hoardes. Both zombies and infected alike are attracted to sounds, lights and movement in their field of vision. It would not be a stretch of the imagination that zombies would start to bunch together as they move toward a noisy survivor or the sound of a helicopter, as shown in the walking dead in season 2. It's not that they are intelligent, but rather the simplicity in which their mind works that causes such actions. I doubt the zombies even comprehend that they are in a hoarde.

People seem to like the idea of a world with modern conveniences already in place that they can freely explore and use without worrying about who owns what.
Then there's the unsettling desire to battle and kill other humans without any pesky moral dilemmas or laws getting in the way.
I think that's pretty much it. Zombies are just ordinary people who we can kill and not feel bad about afterwards because they are 'enemies'. They never seem to run out of energy because that's how people we don't know appear to us.
Take a random stranger near you. You didn't see them eat breakfast, lunch or dinner so they seem to have 'fuel-less' energy to go about their activities. If they put on some make up and raggedy clothes, how would they be any different from the Hollywood zombies (other than the unexplained irrational desire to harm non-zombies?

The herding thing actually makes perfect sense, specifically _because_ they don't have instincts. Zombies are only going to move around until something catches their attention, and then they'll sit around until something else catches their attention. So areas with things that attract zombies (for example, large amounts of noise in some zombie settings) will start attracting all the nearby zombies, and then all those zombies will follow whatever grabs their attention next in one massive herd. It's like a magnet being drawn through sand and attracting all the iron, and just slowly building up.
Look at the 2004 dawn of the dead: The outside of the mall starts off with relatively few zombies, all attracted by the noise of the humans inside, and slowly over the progression of the movie, more and more are drawn there

Also I don't understand that you are showing us scenes from the movie the return of the living dead ( 1985 ) where it is very clearly answered why Zombies eat brains. This means you have seen that movie and you are just trying to fool us. Also With no proper research on Zombies you made this video. I know way better about Zombies than you. You probably hate Zombies and that is why you made this the most lame video ever criticizing Zombie theories, then I tell you that even if you hate Zombies and spread your very lame critism about them, then that is not going to change the minds of the Zombie lovers. They will continue to love Zombies just like they always do. So even if you show us or don't show us this video, then that would mean the same thing. Dumbass video by a dumbass person.

You don't understand a lot about zombies. Heres 2 point for examples, hordes are created starting with one zombie making noise attracting more and so on and so forth, the more noise the more zombies attracted which makes even more noise. Second example, world war Z zombies aren't thinking well shit, a massive wall. Well, I guess it's time for the ol' human ladder trick. There just hearing noise over a wall so they literally climb over each other to get to the noise UNINTENTIONALLY creating an ol' human ladder. One consistent idea across undead fiction is that zombies are humans redused to one instinct: noise->movement->alive->food.
And one last additional point, not all zombies from different movies/shows are the same.

I always figure. Undead zombies are impossible. If a bullet to the heart killed you. It's because the body can no longer function without that blood pumping or whatever killed you.
No disease is gonna allow the body to continue to function without the things it needs to function.
Brain virus LIVING zombies are the only possible zombies but it wouldn't take much to kill them, they could be killed just like any human and without the common sense to stay alive they may just die on their own from starvation or disease or death by wandering off a drop, blood loss.
I don't think zombies will ever be real and if they are then they won't be much of a threat to your average military aged adult.

Some other things about zombie movies that I don't understand is how the survivors of these movies don't wear thicker clothing, more protective gear, or some type of chemical zombie repellent to keep these zombies from biting them. I would rather be overheated with too many clothes on than to get bit by one of them. I also notice that for some reason, the survivors would rather leave the safe zone (mall, bunker, seller) just to travel to a deserted island as if deserted islands wouldn't have zombie inhabitants. I mean, why not wait until the zombies die of starvation or cannibalize each other? I guess there are some things that we will never know about zombie movies! Great video!

Zombie movies are similar to time travel movies, they can go by their own rules and some of them dont follow the standard protocol. What works in one movie might not be the same case in another. the term living dead should mean that part of them is still alive, so decomposition would not be the same as an actual dead person. They hunt in herds because it adds to the difficulty of survival for the stars of the show, plus if its a viral disease then the infected will usually act in a parasitic way.
