The Best And Worst Things In John Wick 3 pusalache: While this video has some solid points I'd like to personally disagree with some of them
The adjudicator was supposed to resemble a threatening figure from the High Table and she did a good job at it without even developing a real personality for the entire movie
The Non-Wick action has the role to show that not even John Wick can do everything by himself, something that intensifies the element of danger in the situation he's in
Imo there's nothing wrong with the lore overload, it just adds variety to the action and also illustrates the idea that John Wick is pretty much a victim the whole movie and has to find his way out of things somehow, playing by other people's conditions
The Elder is above the High Table, so it makes sense that he could revert excommunicado. For me atleast, the desert scene was a breathtaking and relaxing moment of the movie, because for a matter of minutes you don't see anybody dying or coming to kill John Wick. But hey this one is all on personal preference
As for the fanboy part, I kinda agree because Zero's behavior was a bit unfitting for a movie like John Wick, but it goes to show that he actually likes John, and there's no real beef between them. Just the contract
That's all I had to say, it's only my opinion tho

Frankly, this was the least of the three. This world has just become completely ridiculous - is absolutely everyone at least a part time assassin? Is there no law enforcement at all? The High Table is the ultimate authority in Assassin World except now they have a boss who turns out to be a desert nomad? Since John apparently never had any intention of killing Winston, why didn't he just cap Nomad man and start working his way through the rest of the High Table as he is plainly going to do in 4? Additionally, most the the action scenes were much darker in this movie and that much harder to see. The adjudicator was also a sucky character and with way too much screen time. They also spent way too much time on Sofia's fight scenes with John not even in the frame. The last climatic fight was just silly with Zero and his henchmen fanboying John and letting him up when they plainly could have ended him four or five times. I hope they get more realistic in the next one and write finis. Keanu will be almost 60 by the time it comes out - please don't Indy Jones him. And enough with the girl power - every action movie doesn't have to have a kickass 110lb hot actress/model in it. Skinny, short, mute woman in 2 was zero intimidating.

I am sorry, but the fights and the stunts in Parabellum is BS compared to the JW1 and JW2. This is a good movie, but if you compare it to its predecessors, then it's terrible in all aspects, not only te fighting. But the fighting is the most significant difference from JW1 and JW2. Both JW movies were tactically correct. JW3 is absolutely in every second of fighting tactically incorrect. Plus the fight scenes aren't even following John Wick anymore, but the scene of the fight itself. In previous movies, you never wondered what's John Wick doing, because you were with him. In JW3, you follow the enemies or the tactics-less friends of JW. You know JW's enemy and wonder how JW is going to jump on him, while in the previous movies, you followed alongside John Wick and wondered what is going to jump at him and how he is going to respond to it. John Wick movies were exceptional in this and in many other aspects. John Wick 3: Parabellum is, however, just an action movie with an excellent main character, to whom is no focus given anymore.

Am I the only one who is quite confused about the dogs? I thought there were only two dogs as they are shown there. In one scene they killed one dog so there should be only one left but there were suddenly two dogs attacking bad guys. I am confused please help.
I do not understand the motive of John Wick going to desert either. In the movie number two he kills that man in hotel. He knows that he will be excomunicado but he stills do it. Now he is begging for his life, going to dessert and he sacrifices his finger and swears his loyalty to the high table in order to break the loyalty again? Why did not he kill Winston? Because of love? He wants to stay alive so why did not he killed him. I also do not understand why he wants so desperately to stay alive. The argument that he does not want to forget the memory of his love is not valid in my opinion. It is poor a argument. It just does not make any sense to me.

The adjudicator isn't supposed to be menacing. She is supposed to be a bureaucratic paper-pusher. It's what makes her character interesting. She is passive and non-violent, but lives in a world where she passes judgement on killer assassins. It supposed to be juxtaposition.
Also, the bald guy delivers one-liners because John Wick doesn't. How many scenes in this trilogy were ripe for one-liner jokes, but did not go that route? John Wick is the strong silent type. He doesn't speak when he doesn't have to, and when he does, it's not to say all that much. THAT is why Parabellum does what it can with it's villains.
This serious was never about John Wick. It's about the world he inhabits, the assassin's code, and personalities that are developed within it.

I'm sorry but stunts weren't that great. They wanted that The Raid feel but tried too much/too much CGI. Off the top of my head, some scenes that I didn't like:
- first minutes into the movie, when they throw knives at each other from gun point, too much. And who throws knives from that close?
- on his horse, when he shoots the unarmed villain on the motorcycle
- the long fight in Morocco ft Halley Berry and her dogs. Too many enemies just waiting to get killed. Also when thee villains attack John or the girl from behind, it's never with guns, barehands or knives.
- Keanu is just too tall and slow to be able to win over those Indonesian killers.

4 'errors' stuck out to me -
A. The Chinese doctor pulls his shirt aside before being shot. This creams. the shots are faked/planned.
B. Shooting guns 3 feet from horses, which do NOT react to loud sudden noises and just keep standing still.
C. Is there a lack of Russian speaking peeps in the U. S? Lots of movies get Russian wrong. After branding John, A. Huston says Do Svidanya instead of Proshchai, which means 'till we meed again' instead of 'goodbye' or 'farewell'.
4. When the Japanese kill the two assassins at the central station, the two bodies are immediately gone from the floor.

I think Zero was a perfectly likeable character. With a character as legendary as John Wick, it only seems fitting that he'd pick up some assassins seeking to simply square off with him in the name of celebrity contact status, like meeting your favorite actor at a convention. Wick's reputation is designed to precede him and Zero provides some comic relief.
Not to mention that it's rare for the adversary of the hero to show some personality beyond I'm here to kill you and that's it.
Zero respects Wick, even admires him, and that's what makes the fight scenes so much more juicy.

John isn't picked up by magic. He's found the way he's told he would be found half dead in the desert. The excommunicado is never lifted. It's supposed to be lifted if John kills Winston, but since John doesn't kill Winston, you can't say it's wrapped up. John doesn't just give up jewlery it's about giving up what is driving him to live in the first place, his love for his wife. The elder calls it his weakness. None of John's situation is remotely made better by the encounter with the elder. In fact, by the end of the film, he's in the worst shape we've ever seen him in.

Chapter 2 was the most beautiful and elegant. Chapter 3 the best fights. The Elder was a real downer. It was more like arabian nights than John Wick. This could been solved differently. I envisioned either a hidden fortress in desert mountains but with high tech here and there or a vast palace with a few chosen people. But always with hints to the old origins of the assassins and marvelous high tech sprinkled in. That would have been awesome. But this tent) in the desert. meh. Disappointing. Now i hope for Chapter 4 to see the High Table get its ass kicke all over New York.
