Captain Marvel Scenes That Were Left Out Of The Movie OnceUponAPiano: Many of these scenes would have helped a LOT, but they couldnt have made the movie great.
The movie is fine, maybe even good, as a stand-alone movie, especially compared to some of the other MCU origin movies. But in those movies, the thing that came across and made them work within an MCU context was that they established the leads/heroes better. Carol doesnt really have many emotions and isnt an interesting person. Even with characters like Cap, who is virtually morally perfect, he was in a distinctive place in his life in each film which made him more interesting as well as compelling, vibrant, and real. Carol isnt like that. I dont know if thats because of Brie Larsons acting, the writing, the directing, or all of the above (which is what it seems like, but Carol Danvers is not compelling as it stands now. Its a shame.

The Don scene. her acting is so bland and lackluster and his acting is so cartoonish. I don't feel anything one way or the other about the scene but I sure do laugh my ass off at how cartoonishly It was written and plays out.
I can't tell if she's a bad actress or if she just thinks she can phone it in and ride on the coattails of her character which she mistakenly believes has A-list level notoriety and name recognition.

strong female CHARACTER is better than STRONG FEMALE character, the directors and Brie didn't know the difference. Captain Marvel looked so bland and emotionless because emotional vulnerability is too weakening for the feminist prime expected of a woman, which is plain wrong. Femininity is the best thing about a female.

If they didn't do what they did to nick fury, and it didn't create all these plot holes and screw up the continuity of 10 years worth of movies I might have liked it. All the heavy handed girl power stuff didn't bother me but the story. the damn story and Nick fury are what killed it for me

I love Marvel and I have every movie. I plan on buying every future movie except for Captain Marvel and its sequels. There were some funny scenes of Samuel L Jackson, Goose and Talos (Main funny Skrull dude, but other than that; I didnt like it.

This movie wasn't as good as it's hype. It was okay, and I guess it filled in a bit of MCU history, but the only reason I saw it was because I thought it would be important to Endgame. It really wasn't. I could have done without it.

They shouldve kept the scenes with Carol in the movie, it wouldve greatly improved her character. Also where Talos gets his hunch about Carols best friend, wouldve been a good scene. But they opted for the castrated version, so.

Not gonna watch this because I'm sick to death of CM and Brie Larson. But I'm curious: did they show the scene where she assaulted someone and stole from them for the horrible crime they committed of telling her to smile?

LOVE LOVE LOVE CAROL DANVERS (from Ms. marvel to Binary to Warbird to Captain Marvel)
But this film was weak and messy. And an insult to the mythology it came from (mostly Mar-Vell and SupremeIntelligenc)
