Woah The Grudge was and is one of the scariest horror movies in the last 15 or so years. (especially the Japanese version) But it was scary because they used visuals we weren't used to seeing. I really hope this version can go beyond contorted body movements that every other horror movie adopted since then, and the copious amounts of blood rated r movies throw in there just for the sake of it.

wow, Hollywood sucks. They are so desperate for ideas, they are already recycling a 15 year old movie.
If you want to see a pretty lame, but interesting concept until you see it, Japanese horror film, check out Ju-On vs Ring-u (it's in japanese, but it's also on YouTube for free.

if no Asian Protagonist in this time, it just an other whitewashing movie, Hollywood always give asian Role as nerd, kung fu master etc. asian need speak out like the blacks do, why do you think there is BLM but no ALM? asian is to passive or some even more Passive aggressive.

Why does America keep ruining films by remaking them rather than have some originality? Ju-on was great the way it was and if subtitles are enough to put people off of watching things then maybe they should just try a little harder

I am SO STOKED see this movie. The Grudge is literally the only horror movie that truly sticks with me and scares me to my core (and I have seen a lot of horror movies, American and Asian.

I saw all of them so far. Even now it still leaves me a little disturbed which goes to show you how good a movie really is. Looking forward to this version of The Grudge!

Sorry, but the Grudge movie ghosts just look comical. Not scary.
