I remember about that thing in South Park when Isaac Hayes left the show because was irritated by the Scientology jokes, and the creators killed off Chef in the most gruesome way they possibly imagine.
In the opposite way, in the Simpsons they totally kill off characters in respect of the death of their respective voice actors instead of just recasting them, and I think is really awesome.

To me, the quickest replacement that I've ever seen of an actor or actress was on My Wife and Kids, the oldest daughter was on for like 1 episode then replaced by another actress. For LOST It ok didn't say the full reason for the deaths and the characters leaving the show.
Mr Eko, his actor left because he missed his family and hated being so far away from them.
With Libby, they killed her off because they knew no one would be sad that Anna died, so they had both die to hit the emotional cord.

T. R. Knight was kind of a drama king. He took special offense after Patrick Stewart and Isaiah Washington got into an argument where Isaiah mistakenly referred to Patrick as gay (in some way) in front of T. R. and the whole cast. Admittedly Isaiah was cold about it but there's no way Isaiah meant to insult him.

classics. Lt. Colonel Henry Blake's plane. was shot down. over the Sea of Japan. there were no survivors.

LOST. worst series ever. period. and I bet the people involved with it are now involved with the new tv series emergence. same sort of weird, no answer shit. will give it 6 or 7 shows and if it still acts and looks like lost, it will be lost, gone. lol

Heidi Swedberg (Susan Ross on Seinfeld) didn't miss much by being fired/killed off at the end of season 7 of Seinfeld (except for a few paychecks, I guess)--the last 2 seasons of Seinfeld really sucked, compared to the first 7 seasons.

I call BS - There's no way that Libby's death on Lost was planned and a coincidence. they had barely begun to even scratch the surface of her story and there was still mysteries left to explore.
