Do not use propaganda to change the tides. The Blade franchise and Wesley Snipes saved Marvel and the comic book genre. Marvel was in debt so the success went to their debt. Sony and Fox took advantage of the market only knowing that Marvel was out and bankrupt, and they could pay for a proven success in main characters like Spiderman and X-men based on the success of the almost unheard of Blade. Everyone always talks about this movie ushering in the renaissance of modern superhero movies after decades of garbage even though the only ones that come to anyone's mind are the two Schumacher Batman movies and maybe Shaq's Steel. I guess you could argue in terms of social themes it did but in commercial and critical success I feel this is just something film sheeple are programmed to know.

How can you hold this in such high regard yet totally bash Dark Phoenix? When you put opinions out there like that the mindless masses follow along & say it's crap too, just like what happened to Inhumans. And if you do dislike those so much, at least give reasons for why you tear them down rather just trashing them.

His choice to not respect the comics were the worst decision. This video assumes that treating the material seriously and ignoring the source material seriously. He ignored many aspects of the comics in a way that wasn't needed. OK as it was but it doesn't feel like a comic movie to comic fans or comic movie fans.

Hmmm. I understand The movies were adapted to make them more accessible. I still believe they should be more comics accurate. People like the strange and unusual, they just don't know it yet. Interesting how Rogue's name in the comics is Anne Marie but in the movie the actress is Anne and Rogue's name was Marie

X-Men Dark Phoenix would have been much better but it was bad due to -
1. It was a 2 part movie. But due to Disney Fox deal. It was merged into one part.
2. It had a storyline similar to Captain Marvel. So they had to change it the last moment.

Too bad out of all the x men movies made only x1, x2, first class, deadpool 1 and 2, and logan can really be considered good.
And some dont like x2 or first class either.
Some also like all of them, but that aint me.

I noticed; You can go further & say that this X-men movie saved Hollywood. All other comic book movies copied this movies blueprint & if it wasnt for these comic book movies Hollywood would be in a financial shit-hole right, easy to see.

I Noticed, but it was very subtle they could've thrown some 'First Class' in there & had the kitchen scene with Xavier/Raven, then later with Charles saying she took a different path. Thus setting up other movies.
