The next time we see Thor will be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and I hope he keeps the dad bod all throughout that entire movie too. I want Bro Thor to stay around for the rest of the existence of the MCU, I want Thor to never get back in his chiseled form. In fact, I want Chris Hemsworth to lose his chiseled body, so that he can play the character better. That's what I want.

I think Bro Thor has NOTHING to do with his weight nor do even make sense to call him that. So what now if you're fat, you're a bro? I think we need let the fat Thor die out before it DOES get offensive. It's already tiptoe-ing that line. We're losing the meaning behind his weight gain. How about we use his weight gain as a way to open up conversations about depression, guilt, and anxiety?

Jeez, calling him Fat Thor does not in any way shame fat people, obese people, slightly overweight people, or any people.
It shames Thor, who let himself go and thus deserves to be shamed to some degree. He also deserves to have his redemption, which he does (to some degree.

I personally thought even with his fat appearance, at the end he looked still badass, with his beard and long hair, I just kinda hoped that the Eye patch returned, I think he looked great with the Eye patch, a nice Odin resemblance.

I actually don't get fat Thor. Thor is an Asgardian basically a god and he'd need to drink an insane amount to get even a small bump on his gut. Asgardian alcohol is way way more potent and earth alcohol would be like water.

Making Thor fat to show PTSD and depression was not a good move. Tony Stark portrayed with PTSD in Iron Man 3 was a great way of doing it but with Thor they turned mental health into a joke
