Just reinforces what a shit decision he is for blade tbh. Does not fit the character after the way snipes portrayed him. It will take something amazing to reboot blade properly and ali's emotional spectrum does not support blade. He would have been much better off being put in as a different character more suitable to him. He is a rage kind of guy not a calm collected bad ass like blade.

I don't understand why the studio chose Mr. Ali for the role. He is a fantastic actor but what is Important is that we smash racial, gender and ableist stereotypes. If Marvel (Disney) Studios had real courage and and vision, they would have picked a gender neutral, quadriplegic Asian for the role. Sad.

Ali is going to need to train allot for the fight seens. And whoever directs the movie will have to capture the fight scenes like how they did in the original movies because there have been very few fight scenes to date that can top snipes fights in the originals

Well with the new technology, his skills should be no problem they love putting in stunt doubles, Batman, Superman, all these action movies have stunt doubles, look at the new fast and furious with the Rock and Jason stunt doubles all the way through.

I'm really hoping for a reimagined blade, rehashing the Snipes version it's getting tiresome. I want a Solid Snake, Sam Fisher, Agent 47 type Blade with a tad bit of James Bond thrown in there and topped off with a smidge of John Wick.

If they adopt how fox incorporate the casting of Prof. X previously played by Patrick stewart and played by James mcavoy as the younger version, I think snipes can still play the blade role if timeline matters become a deal to the mcu.

He isnt a marital artist but he is a good actor. My fear is he isnt an action star or intimidating. I think he will do good at the drama but it will take stunt doubles and cgi to make the action look good
