That is your vision on the American dream? Low bar don't you think? That's more the American nightmare. The American dream if that you can be the person in charge. You decide which contributers get rewarded. That seems a better dream then just work hard and hope your hard work gets rewarded. That's the beauty of America. You gotta remember that back in the day in Europe it did not matter how intelligent or how ambitious you were your social status determined how successful you would be. Not just your social status but the status of your family. A peasant could do ok for himself not that means he could feed and house his family. But that was the best you could hope for as a peasant but born into a Noble. family you did not have to really do shit. The peasants kept you fed family money got you everything, the easy life. For a peasant it was hard work every day. You have to remember that they working manual labor work and everyday to feed the family and pay their taxes to feed the royal families.

Seeing how Walt slowly went from being a good man to a killer was sad. Walt wasn't a monster, -or maybe he was and I was just blinded by his good intentions. Jesse was a lost soul who got more and more manipulated by Walter. All in all the series deserves all the hype, it's a roller coaster of emotions all tightly packed together with a bow on top. It's a great series, even 10 years after its start. Seeing Walter laying on the floor bleeding out just summed up the hole series I think. It's a masterpiece.

One of the beauties of this show was the fact that NOTHING NEEDED EXPLANATION. if you have any questions about the show, its because you missed something. all the answers to everything are in the show. i wish all shows were made this way. i woud enjoy them more if i didn't have to figure everything out

Hank, Pinkman, Skyler, Walter jr, and Marie. MY LEAST FAVORITE CHARACTERS! they annoyed the living crap outta me! Best part about better call saul. I dont have to be annoyed by these characters.
Dean Morris/Norris did a great job at making the character Hank down right annoying!

Thats why this series was so good. Was walter an antihero or a villain? I guess in every villains mind they are doing the right thing. But the clues we get along with the choices he makes and the subtleties in the writing. Its so bloody good.
