The Matrix Timeline Finally Explained 24emerald: Some flaws in this synopsis but, still a good effort!
As far as the animatrix portion I never liked it. Especially the end. Still, it is an interesting contrast to what Wachowski would have envisioned.
I kinda liked the idea of bringing aliens into the mix but, I think the Wachowski brothers would have gone into a deeper depiction of what an alien arrival might look like or play out.
No doubt the brothers would want to bring something totally new to this common Hollywood theme though. Right?
Something never tried. yet masterfully logical and forever redefining our impression of extraterrestrial contact.
Something maybe like, they arrive, then the machines take it on themselves to defend the earth using their advanced technology. Only to have their attack obliterated.
Then the aliens contact the humans and machines but, not as a threat. They instead offer assistance to the reclamation of earths former ecosystems to a state before the war between man and machine. And a state that benefits human and machine alike.
In exchange, the aliens ask only remain totally unknown to humans and machines.
And to set up one simple base on earth. They liken their base to being one tree in the earthly garden. It is to be viewed as a presence of other worldly consciousness and to be left alone. A sort of sacred tree.
We are to feel secure with the knowledge that a non interactive and benevolent consciousness exists.
Hmmmm.
I know this sounds something like Stanley Kubric's 2001 Space Odyssey. (Now that l think about it) so maybe the Wachowski brothers would not go that way either.
For sure they would want to go somewhere new with this age old theme. That's what brilliant artists do.
Hmmm.
come to think of it, they would probably want to maintain the the theme they established in the trilogy. Tying it back to Greek mythology and Mesopotamia as was clear by the use of character names like Oracle, Morpheus, Nebuchadnezzar etc. Maybe something including Egyptology this time, who knows.
That seems to be a recurring theme. (Somehow missed in this synopsis I might add)

The logic of the Matrix really doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Okay so the machines won the great human machine war; but afterwards they were sitting around for centuries, cultivating human plants for power; when they could have and focused on cleaning up the blackened sky, so they could go back to using solar energy. Or even better yet; they could have built a fleet of spaceships, and evacuate the Earth, and basically said Goodbye humans, enjoy your polluted planet and scorched sky.
And then again, since I went to such great lengths to prevent humans from going extinct; they could have simplified their approach significantly by not trying to destroy Zion, while dealing with the Smith crisis in The Matrix. I mean at this point the entire city of Zion would have posed zero threats to the machines; machines would have been better off just keeping an eye on Zion, and preventing the humans from developing any kind of new weapons; then periodically (say three months out of the year) sending hunting machines to strategically thin out the human population; then serendipitously delivering food and supplies to the humans, by pretending that the machines were going to destroy the resources, but then it accidentally fell into human hands. This would be easily be a better way to control humans, in addition to having the Matrix in the first place.

I think the bioelectricity has always been a lie (4th wall break, besides being forced by the studio. I think the purpose of the Matrix is to create The One, Agent Smith. I think the true, most exciting part of all of the Matrix tech is Smith escaping the Matrix. the Matrix was created to study humans, like studying God. I think Smith's escape was overshadowed by Smith's viral take over of the Matrix. the Machines missed his escape. Smith doesn't really expound on his new, interesting experience, but we know he is still anti-human. Clearly the Machines can print/breed/clone and raise them with AI beings in the matrix, so the total collapse of humans was BS.

Though it all makes sense, i wish they would've explained all of this in two movies, the first movie and ONE sequel. That's the reason the sequels got such bad reviews, because they decided No, one sequel isn't enough, let's make two sequels and an anime series and a video game, and throw in each one a little piece of information, so everyone will have to pay ten times as much. Oh, and let the architect speak Chinese, ergo people will have the choice, whether it's all confusing or even more confusing.

I think this is the last straw. I'm telling YouTube never to show Looper videos to me again. Finally? All of this has been known since the films were coming out more than a decade ago. Every time you title something like this deceptively and trick people into watching the ads, the revenue you get from them is stolen money. There would be nothing wrong with a nice summary of the timeline, but to pretend like some 'new' information has 'finally' been revealed is unethical. Bye.

There is no real world where humans still endure in a city called Zion. That too is the Matrix, a second server, to keep the ilusion that humans have the choice to rebell. The real world could be hundreds of thousand years in the future where the machines from Earth have a galactical Empire even. who knows. The real world, tinted blue, is the very excence of the ilusion of a choice that everyone in the movie talks so much about.

Ive always wondered how Neo had powers in the real world, if it is the real world and not another simulation. How is his code any different to all the others and whats the connection he shares in both? Was he created/genetically engineered especially by the machines (parentless) whereas the others were only reproduced unconsciously naturally (ivf.

The only reason they would have any way of controlling humanity via the one system would be if the real world that the machines allow zion to exist in is also a matrix. The humans are so busy trying to help and free other people to the real world. never realize they are still in a simulation.

0: 10. And yet you can't help but get almost every single thing wrong!
For real you should be ashamed!
But I'm pretty sure you're just trolling. I'm sure this is a poll to see who actually knows what about The Matrix. Because I refuse to believe you got so much wrong on purpose.

Yeah lets take out the sun, so we can die too, cuz we can't grow food, smart thinking! After hearing for this, I can see why the machines imprisoned the people in the matrix, the are violent cruel animals. The ai's came for peace, and we bombed them, smfh.
