Otherwise Disney will have a monopoly on the movie business so they can control what's on screens in movie theatres they had star wars playing for four weeks in the biggest auditorium at cinimark which is less profitable for the theatre and gets rid of lots of people seeing smaller movies made by independent studios but if the theatre doesn't play star wars at all then they get Evan less profits Disney owns 32 of all movie studios so now Disney controls pretty much all of movies and Sony knows how to! make a great spider man movie!

I blame the studio who ruined spider man when they made the amazing spider man 1 and 2. if I wanted to watch a spider man that didnt exist in a universe with other marvel superheroes I would just watch the raimi films and spider verse sucked and was ruined by miles morales the only good thing to come out of the ultimate universe was sam jacksons nick fury.

Maybe Sony never liked the rules Disney putting for Spider-Man or something? So they cut it, and that Sony had plans for Spidey all along starting with Venom. But who knows. Whatever the reasons are, Spidey in the MCU was one of the best thing happened in MCU, especially his interaction with Stark. Hopefully we get to have more awesome Spider-Man films.

Sony doesn't need Disney. They are trying to bully sony into an un fair deal. They want 50/50 theater profits. but they already get all merchandise revenue, and theme park access. Sony has made good spiderman movies. I am getting tired of villianous Disney intimidating to get what they want.

If this is true then this is actually great news for X-Men fans. I'm not a fan of Spiderman so I'm not too broken up about the cancellation of those movies. I am however, a huge X-men fan and I've been DYING for a really good X-Men movie. Hopefully they're serious about giving us one.

Man I dont care. Spider-Man and Tom Holland deserve better. I understand Kevin has X-men on his plate but that doesnt mean he should give Spider-Man the cold shoulder. What ever it takes to get Spider-Man back in the MCU. ITS WORTH IT. SPIDER-MAN IS WORTH IT!

Disney: 5% of the revenue
Sony: 95% of the revenue
Disney was only asking for a more reasonable 25%.

Why won't they figure this out so Marvel can do the last two Tom Holland movies and set up Jameson and Striker to hate mutants and get the X-Men franchise going? Finish the saga and part ways happier, richer, and with better movies. Greed is ridiculous.
