Would if Time Traveling was involved which to me i don't think it is, but it would be a good way to end the show by bring Bob, Barb, Billy, Alexei and everyone that died back. To make it seem like nothing happened. Like it was a big nightmare. Movies end like that sometimes, it's got me thinking.

I know this is a reach but what if the Billy that died was actually the other Billy from the upside down, also the American might be Murray since Hop gave his phone number out which the Russians may of heard and they might of been waiting for him when he went back to get stuff.

You are missing the absolute obvious. There could be the addition of many new characters. Eleven found Eight. But where are One through Seven plus Nine and Ten? There could be all sorts of new super powers to be used to against the Russians.

Me and all of my friends think Hopper might become the new monster they mostly add whenever a new series comes, the toxicity of The Upside-Down turnt him into the monster, (thats our theory) so yeah, he went in The Upside-Down

Billy might be still alive, Why? Because remember the 2nd or 1st episode he was in the upside down and there was a bunch of clones of Billy, what if they captured the REAL Billy and one of the clones take over. just a theory
