Idk, one is more real to me than the other. Reynolds can pretend all he wants, but a true madman will happily delude himself into thinking he's a Joker.

The name joker sold not the movie itself, since that movie is just a remade of an old movie the king of comedy and has zero to do with the dc joker. Juaquin Phoenix is a phenomenal actor that is what helps the movie but the original didn't do so well. the name of the joker is what is bringing people to the movies

I saw it 4 times in theaters, and Im actually surprised at how well its done over here overseas, especially here in Japan (Japanese people dont like confronting their feelings IRL, especially not like Joker does even on a low-key level, not even to s. o. or family.
