I wasn't to keen on Henry Cavill at first. In fact i thought he was just a pretty face, pretty body who was likely as self centered and ego tripped as Affleck. I have completely fallen in love with him now as an actor as I see more of him behind the scenes on his projects. He has such an amazing heart and passion. The moment that caught my attention was in that one kid's video in Superman where he was asked a question that he reflected on. That smile of realization was absolutely stunning and captivating.

Satisfying the fandom? You mean the press and movie critics wrote nice things about those films. They also trashed suicide squad and fans still went to see and it did great. the only problem with suicide squad was that there wasn't enough jared leto. The flight scene was probably the best scene when he flew over the world in man of steel. The musical was great too. I think everyone who saw that scene get touched by that scene imagining the fact that if we could fly like that how great that would be

Henry is awesome as supes! Love man of steel and BvS, I would have wanted for DC to continue the direction they started instead of making the mess we have now. He is a perfect superman and people like him, I dont know were the problem lies.

They killed off Superman at the end of Batman vs Superman, then didn't include him in the posters for Justice League. Look no further than that for an explanation as to why Justice League didn't do as well as they hoped.

He just needs to work with better writers and a better script, his best scene as superman was at the end of justice league with cyborg, really brought some levity back to the character

You cant blame Cavill for suspect writing, I did think the Man of Steel was very good. The problem DC has is the MCU, which has destroyed box office records for the past 10 years

The MCU was incredibly well though out and undergone a 12 year span of movies whereas the DCCU (Doesnt even sound right) was incredibly rushed with terrible writing
