The Outrage Over Ghostbusters: Afterlife Just Got Real BJ: I'm a huge ghostbusters fan. Its my all time fav movie. I love stranger things, I love Ghostbusters. I'm stoked. I'll watch the movie anyday over 2016 GB. Those ladies are funny my reference is not about them being women. That's something idiots say. It was just a really really awful version of the same movie mixed with scooby doo. I went to the theater was hyped to watch it. fell asleep. Director was trash, story was trash, villain was somehow even worse. The only good part of gb 2016 was the girls. I feel bad that they had such a trash producing team of writers and directors. Thankfully because of that terrible movie we are getting afterlife.

The 2016 version sucked and anything based on the original and passes the torch to another team with heart and humor would be a major improvement. The actors are getting old and can be mentors to the new team. I would have rather seen this than the horrible 2016 version. Male or female didn't really matter it was the horrible story and the changing of the dynamics of how they fought ghosts that really ruined the film for the original fans. The ecto-plasm constant that was used to calculate how to immobilize and restrain the ghost was really flawed in the 2016 film and the rule changes didn't really convince hardcore fans.

I think youve entirely missed the point of the criticism, which is that this supposed sequel to the two original Ghostbusters films showed lots of children and NO GHOSTBUSTERS. We keep being told the original cast are in it! but if we dont see anything about HOW they are in it, the worry is that this is going to be Monster Squad 2 (or Stranger Things 4) with Ghostbusters cameos. Sony has a poor track record thanks to the last film (which I enjoyed but dont think lives up to the originals) so they need to show that this time theyve got it right. and they didnt do that with this trailer.

Growing up as a kid watching the original film Ghostbusters. Not knowing much about todays film, stranger things. After watching the trailer for Ghostbusters three, I will tell you this, if the movie is there anything like the trailer, this will be a phenomenal film! So far, the story is great! Todays generation is so judge mental and immature. Learn from your elders, Sit down, shut your mouth, watch the film.

The problem isn't it's a stranger things ripoff. While it is profiting off that trend, the problem is it is trading the fun, comedic tone of the originals with a series tone. I think this film will be worst to the series then 2016s film because this film gets rid of the parody part of the horror parody franchise. Sony is killing a beloved horror parody franchise to profit off of a short lived Netflix craze.

I don't care. Me and my whole family love Ghostbusters and all we've wanted for years is to have a sequel (better then whatever happen in 2016) the Ghostbusters fandom is finally getting a real story in a good looking movie, and a ton of nostalgia. I'm not letting the internet ruin this for me I'm just going to enjoy the heck out of it.

I really do not understand what this video is all about. has looper been paid off by the studios? People do not like this new trailer because it clearly does not understand the tone of the original. It does appear to be a stranger things style movie with Ghostbusters label slapped on it. Why does Hollywood hate ghostbusters?

I wonder why it looks like stranger things. I mean it just has the main actor from stranger things. So seeing him, makes you think Stranger things. Another actor would have given a different vibe. It's commonsense. Why do people insist to show their ass on the internet with their ignorant opinions.

It would've been better if the kids were 10 and 11 that way it wouldn't look so much like the Goonies and more like a rated G movie for a 10 and under audience. Better yet, let's scrap the whole thing and make it a rated G cartoon complete with a Disney castle and a fairy at the beginning.

As a fan of ghostbusters, I never wanted a reboot. A (IMO) tasteful sequel that not only respects the original but also pays homage too is welcome in my view. Its awesome to see the timeline continue and see ecto 1. Only sjws wanted bridesmaids 2 ghostbuster remake.
