What Rotten Tomatoes Is Saying About Rise Of Skywalker mojo: Excellent movie, not so depressing as only a little genocide, all in all better than the others as not so convoluted, may need to see once or twice again including at home before I make my mind up, btw saw it Dolby digital and whilst the seats shook, I had better audio of c3po with the bullet line on my iPad via a ytb preview than I did in the theatre, ie odeon Leicester Square, one more audio episode too, but cant remember when, again could have been rustling of audience food or intentional - to capture the right setting of those particular settings. I think I need to see it on a bigger screen, is it in 3D or imax I wonder, a version excursion to visit the chameleon. Perhaps they should stop with the who, e franchise until there is a marked reduction of current genocide on planet earth - lets put some of those profits to good news Disney, cheers. Peace to all

So what's exactly wrong with wrapping the saga up HONORING what came before? Why shouldn't this piece of entertainment be made for the fans?
These critics are the same ones who think Game of Thrones was ended wonderfully for subverting expectations and whatever self indulgent garbage so-called cinematic trope you want to plug in.
Thank you JJ for setting it right!

It is tied in as it's a sequel. The death star luke destroyed is real. Actuallly was guarding uk. And it's deep coded some and full of old grudges hate matches and phantoms. The logic is heart wrenching truth most want to ignore. A smooth landing is accurate but not over. It's in the essence of the original works. It is stunning. Emotional too.

Everyone wants a happy ending. speak for yourself pal. I would have loved a dark depressing everyone dies ending here, just like I would have loved the original ending planned for Jedi back in '83. I was hoping for a nice dramatic ending like in Rogue One, instead I got just another yub yub party.

Critics butthurt because Last Jedi was their holy grail but fans hated it. Sad that it's proof that Hollywood has total contempt for the fans. Do these idiots not understand the fans make or break a movie. You neglect, abuse, or denounce the fans you'll be reviewing unemployment next time around.

So Rian Johnson destroyed the trilogy and J. J. tries to make correct it. TLJ is the main reason the sequel trilogy bombed and split the fan base. Also this movie basically null and voids every star wars before it because marry sue Rey is the new ultra super choose one

With the damage done by TLJ, this was the best we could possibly get. It shows a failure in Lucasfilm leadership. I personally enjoyed the film, it was imperfect and flawed but not the dumpster fire I was promised. It was good, not great 3. 5 out of 5.

Not a huge fan of this franchise. I watched it the other night while I was making Christmas dinner. It was OK. This whole thing is way over rated. At least I didn't doze off. At least it's over now. FINALLY.

They at least could of brought Plagueis back as the Palpatine figure in this which would of made perfect sense, tied in perfectly with the original prequels and made for a much more interesting twist

The RT results are FAKE! From RT --> All Critics (347) Top Critics (54) Fresh (198) Rotten (149)
So. 198+149=347 total, 198 / 347 = 0. 57 that equals 57% Fresh not 86%! FAKE NUMBERS!
