What Rey's New Lightsaber Really Means

and it does look like that, more so than just simply yellow since other
yellow sabers don't look quite like Rey's. I always felt that the
yellow did signify some balance since she restored balance and saw her
as between a consular and warrior due to her studies from the jedi
texts. She conquered the darkness so purple wouldn't be as fitting.
White is supposed to signify healing or a healed crystal like Ahsoka
healed the red lightsabers and turned them white. I always like the
white signified that when Rey died, Ben brought her back and healed her,
hence why her saber is white-gold.

Oh good! Now she ditch the ratty old grandad's bathrobe, the insular monastic lifestyle, the condescending fake humility, and go off on good guy/gal adventures and have a family of her own (if she wants too) while recruiting new force users, getting rid of the dumb stuff of the old Jedi Order and starting a new tradition of living among ordinary people, doing ordinary things and using the force only when needed!

So if shes the last Jedi, and there are no Sith, then she dis balanced the force, and didnt print it to peace, in order for the force to be perfectly balanced the light side (Jedi) and dark side (Sith) must be equal in number, this is what Anakin did by killing off most of the Jedi, and dusbalanced the force by killing Obi-Wan, then Luke evened things out when Anakin, now Darth Vader, died.

The khyber crystal takes its color based on the Jedi it chooses. The Jedi doesn't choose the crystal or its color. The only reason why Luke's second lightsaber had a green crystal, is because it came from another lightsaber that he had found and took apart to study before he met Yoda.
