Every Screen Adaptation Of Wonder Woman Ranked Worst To Best Matthew: I would argue weve barely scratched the surface of Wonder Woman in media. I would say there are only three movies and one comic book series that truly capsulate Wonder Woman, 2017 Wonder Woman, 2009 DC animated Wonder Woman, Professor Marston And The Wonder Women, and the original Wonder Woman comic book series. The way I interpret Wonder Woman is the same way William Marston meant her to be, A fierce kind understanding strong progressive woman, trying to promote peace through reforming criminals and striking down intolerance towards people that are different. Like Morrison, shes a psychologist with a Lie detector who is not afraid to figure out mans hidden nature.

The one that will always be #1 to me is the one I remember watching in the '70's:
Lynda Carter.
#2 being the 'Superfriends' one I ALSO grew up with.
And now for something that ALWAYS bothers the crap out of me about most modern depictions: HOW THE FCK CAN SHE FLY? When did she gain THAT ability out of the blue? And if she CAN fly, why the Hll did she need an invisible jet?

Since when has Wonder Woman ever been a pacifist? As a long time collector of comics, it is pretty obvious that you are very unfamiliar with how her character is portrayed in both Justice League and her self-titled book. The constant reiteration that she should be a bit softer betrays a prejudice on behalf of your script. This list is one of the worst informed lists I've ever seen.

I had questions about your credibility when you placed that 5 minute campy pitch reel ahead of the Cathy Lee Crosby film (in part because people have only seen one of these videos) But I almost lost it when I saw you rank a single episode of The Brady Kids with a Wonder Woman cameo so highly! What the heck?
Oh, Looper, you're the worst!

My dad went to school with Lynda carter, she's probably my favorite wonder woman just because I heard a lot about her from my dad and he introduced me to the show when I was young, so there's a childhood connection to the show. but while she might be my favorite version of WW, she's certainly not my favorite DC character

Gal gadot has done great acting and much props to her for bringing toughness yet a charismatic blend to it. but based on looks alone, she cannot hold a candle to Lynda Carter, Lynda carter will likely forever be THE quintessential wonder woman given how closely she resembles the original Comic Book.

Wonder Woman was among the few female heroines I read growing up. I didn't want to be like her, but I admired her beauty, strength, and morals.
Sometimes the way they have protrayed her in the comics verses the cartoons are completely different and it kinda confused me.

I fell in love with wonder woman because of her costume. the American blue with white stars. This is what made her great. since she embodied America land of the free. Her new incarnation is not bad I just wish it had more stars in it like the original.

Palicki is an awful actress. Should never have been wonder woman. The revamped costume bourassa introduced is trash, and I genuinely love his art. Bruce Timm? His wonder woman is perfection, both of them!
Lynda Carter is the true Amazon princess.

Kudos for recognizing the charm of Diana in DC Superhero Girls. I love her voice and her incomprehensible infatuation with the show's version of Steve Trevor.
