AAAaand there's the entire walking dead plot ruined for me. I mean c'mon, aliens? Why not a new chemical weapon test that went wrong, or someone trying to invent a cure for some disease or cancer or something and it failed? Maybe malaria evolves and when people die from it they wake up controlled by a virus or something
