The Real Reason These Popular '90s Cartoons Were Canceled Pariah: Think u named it all, pretty much, but the value of these shows was drastically reduced when no1 even recorded a good copy on vhs as far as any1 knows, and light damage, not meaning small, but damge from the elements was very apparent to me in any rehashing of alot of these old shows, american gladiator was cool, so people as a whe do not actually know how imortant these shows actually were because they were not kept in mint condition, and couldn't be remastered with any ease whatsoever. If u wanted to show people how 'very' i think important they were, and angry beavers not included, that an not freakazoid so much, i still remember as a newer show, and the quality of angry beavers is apparent, but the quality of some of the others not so much, many people could say, well u just remember i that way, i don't, even hey arnold was in better condition than rockos modern life recordings normally? Perhaps but there is more than huge level of degrading, and no1 to say even if u remember, 'see that's the difference between hi and low quality', it just wont happen, so if u remember good for u because it doesn't matter so much when u can't even like anymore, maybe we could pay folks for their welll maintained copies of the these truely pricless shows.

The Critic is one of those shows that I really wanted to like and I tried to revisit it a couple times. It had some brilliant jokes from time to time, but it also fell flat and had some duds in it as well. The satire was golden-era Simpsons level, but it just didn't have the same density of jokes. If it hadn't been canceled, I would have loved to see how it improved over time. Hell, we could certainly use a show like that today with all the trite, trope-ridden, rehashed garbage coming out of hollywood these days. There's so much low hanging fruit just dropping off the vines for ridicule.

I loved House Of Buggin lol But yeah that wasn't the show to replace the critic. I would have put it on Sunday after In Living Color. My 63 year old Aunt LOVED Beavis And Butthead. I would never that thought in a million years she would have gotten it and she hated adult cartoons But one time I had it on and she was there ROLLING laughing.

It's amazing. You have TV executives who (presumably) are well paid, who make blunders and bad decisions left and right! Aren't they supposed to know what they are doing? Who decided that they were the right people for their jobs? Those people should be fired too.

Gargoyles was such a got damn sleeper! I mean if Disney was smart they could of placed it right behind Dark Wing Duck, and a created a semi Dark hour or segment on tv feature not so kiddy like shows.

Cops the cartoon, or Future Cops I think it was called at one point was one of my fav with Big Boss, Bowser (robot dog) and Blitz, Long Arm to name a few. Even the theme song was awesome.
