Looper, you forgot to mention one very important point about the movie. It also had to be rewritten, so that the original patient zero outbreak of zombies was no longer in China. Yes! The CCP demanded that the story be changed, because they were butt-hurt by the mere concept that a dangerous outbreak could come from within China.

Didnt watch it but just had to comment. what needed to be explained that wasnt straight forward? They came up with a way to mask humans and combat zombies. And brad Pitt met up with his fam. dont think we need a 7 minute video to explain that

This movie was so dissatisfying compare to the book. They should make this into a tv series on Netflix and follow the original book little stories with each character in the book.
