Its right there in the film. George and Loraine attribute their love to the confrontation George had with Biff, not Loraine's 6 day long crush. The fact that Calvin Klein is a real person, they may remember some kid who appeared and disappeared in a week as someone who later went on to create a fashion empire. No, the bigger problem is why did Old Biff return to the same 2015 he left and not the 2015 as a consequence of Biffco's alternate timeline.

I DISAGREE. You WILL remember someone who SET up your marriage and love story. You WILL remember those who have made the biggest impact on your life: Getting the love of your life and defeating the biggest boy in town: Biff. Think about it a neighbor asks George. How did u and lorain meet? boom. See what I mean? All valid points in this video but since it was a great point in their lives at 17. they will remember him for being a HERO

Well, they saw Calvin for a couple of days and only for a couple of hours total. Think back to high school to someone you only met a couple times and have no pictures of. You remember them, but you don't really remember their face. This isn't a plot hole, this is people just not thinking about it in a real world setting when they wouldn't see Calvin look like Marty for over 20 years.

I remember many of my classmates and I would remember one I went out with. If they think their son looks like the guy from 30 years ago, I doubt that would suspect he was their son via time travel. As for their father suspecting something, remember that they met him 30 years ago and he is 17 in the movie and therefore, he would have had to hook up with her later.

It's simple enough in the DVD FAQs. They stated that time travel is a fantasy and there is no one to prove or disprove anything about time travel. It's a staged scenario and that's all there is to it. Just like video games that allows you to perform sorcery left and right, but you can't go somewhere you are not allowed to go.

Has anyone thought of that sucker punch George gave Biff? I mean Biff suddenly cowers to George who obviously had never thrown a punch in anger before. It is Hollywood but realistically if I am Biff I am looking for revenge. Could George beat Biff in a actual fight? That is a plot hole to me.

Ok, so this works except for the fact that his mother probably washes his underwear and therefore would see the Calvin Klein on them, hence triggering memories. Knowing that Calvin Klein wasnt around during her time as a child, would make this something that no one would forget.

But the thing is, when Marty leaves the dance Lorraine says Marty, I like that name. Meaning that she and George named their son after the guy who was responsible bringing them together. If you name your kid after someone, youd probably remember that someones face.

That explanation might work if Marty didn't have such a big impact on their lives during that 8 days. He literally slept on her bed and she had a huge crush on him. They would 100% remember him. Still a great movie tho, nothing is perfect.
