The Biggest Unanswered Questions In Warrior Nun Season 1 Darkest: Adrriael could be a fallen angel which could explain the command of demons or one of the Nefielhiem (half angel half human) supposedly they had the powers of angels but unlike angels had free will
also the swiss guard are no joke they are all military trained and in effect if not fact warrior priests (same oaths)

i didnt write this so creddit to the person who did but thought it is some good ideas on whats happend: The Tarasks are heavenly creatures. It's the first thing I thought of when Ava noticed the Tarask skeleton was divinium. There are 3 possible scenarios I see, but this is my favorite (and makes for better writing IMHO. Adriel is a thief who stole the halo. The Tarasks are from heaven sent to retrieve it. This makes us realize that Adriel had been around millennia ago, and was actually able to shape what we, humans, see as good and evil. therefore, he made us think these creatures, and/or things that look like this were from hell when they were actually heavenly creatures. This also makes sense if we see it as Lillith being pulled into heaven. They heal her and send her back to keep Adriel from getting the halo (hence why she said the halo can't enter Adriel's tomb. I like how this theory makes us question our images of heaven and hell, and/or the creatures that come from them. Theory 2: many think the halo was lucifer's and he's sending the Tarasks from hell to get it back. This one also assumes Lillith was healed in hell and sent back to also get the halo back. Theory 3: heaven and hell are a construct and these are beings from another dimension. Adriel stole the halo from someone/something and they want it back. Adriel takes advantage of our dimension's religious beliefs to have us fight on his behalf. The part with Duretti was confusing, I'll have to give it a re-watch. He did install some pretty awful nuns in the OCS, reassigned some of them (not knowing Vincent was bad, btw) kept talking about loyalty to him, was disappointed when Beatrice said she was loyal to God, tried to have Lillith kill Ava, etc, so I'd have to rewatch with this new perspective to totally absolve him. Some of the most key things said in the finale, I think, are what Vincent says to master. This includes The halo can not be yours. You know this. (super interesting, your machine awaits (confirming he's the angel Michael has been hearing, and you will be reunited. Reunited with who/what and also. where? Is this portal to hell, heaven, or another dimension (this answers the question on where Michael went. I think it may most likely be heaven as it's a bit on the nose. His name is Michael and he jumps into the ark (Archangel Michael, who leads God's armies against Satan's forces in Revalations. If we believe the Tarasks are from heaven, he is literally instilled and kept alive with divine material already. So I think we'll see him again in some other capacity, healthy and able to help the nuns, like Lillith. Some things of note: Tarasks can only be killed by, essentially, themselves (as divinium is made of their skeleton) and the Halo holder (or the halo itself. Makes sense if they're from heaven - they were created to only be destroyed by something divine, not anything from earth or hell. The last interesting thing is the name of the episode itself: Revalations 2: 10, which states: Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. I wonder if this gives us a hint as to what we'll see in Season 2

Adriel, the Terasks, and Wraiths are from another dimension, but people of Earth named beings from this other dimension Angels and Demons which created a religion out of misunderstanding of what they were seeing. Angels were made out by humans to be presumably the good guys because they look like humans when they are not exactly humans and their glowing weapon they called a halo. Demons were made out by humans to presumably be the bad guys because they look scary and they do not like humans. When actually these are just beings from another dimention and we don't know the whole story of why Adriel was hiding on Earth. Adriel is a being that can control Wraiths and Adriel's species found out that Divinium amplifies special abilities, giving them immense power like a battery, and to be able to teleport between dimensions. The Terask are one of those living creatures that have the ability to live symbiotically with another creature and probably believed it beneficial to coexist and heal Lilith instead of kill her. The cteatures live connected to each other by the Divinium in their bodies.

It all makes sense if you put the scenes together. Adriel probably was the closest fallen angel to the devil ( Lucifer ) and he gathered demons to follow him ( as we can see in the end scene, When the right time came he stole the Halo and teleported to earth, as we could see in that scene he tried to close the portal but right after a Demon, probably send by Lucifer, followed him and tried to take it back where it belongs but of course failed, the falled angel and the power of the Halo were too great. He couldn't appear as a devil on the world so he did a good thing saving the woman leader ( sry I forgot her name. She figured it out and by using the power of the Halo she locked him up. We can also talk about Michael. He could talk to Adriel because he had in his blood Divinium witch Angels, fallen or not can feel. Also Lilith was send at first to Stop Ava from entering the tomb and releasing Adriel witch was stopped by her friends, releasing the control over her body.

Remember how when Lilith somehow teleported to the Vatican and told Ava and Beatrice that the halo can not enter the tomb. Did she know Adriel was alive and wanted it, she seemed really disturbed by the fact that they want to go in and later Adriel also said to her in the fight scene oh, youve been to the other side. As he also knew Lilith somehow and I think when she went to the other side she either went to hell with the Tarask or heaven bcz some theories point to the Tarask being not so evil. What if Lilith talked to someone like the original angel with the halo that was stolen and found out things about Adriel? Lol thoughts?

Take a step back from the heaven/hell mindset. Adriel is an inter-dimensional thief who stole the halo. The Tarask was chasing him. Divinium comes from Tarask bones and reacts to the halo so the halo is from the same dimension as the Tarask.
What we have is a story with three factions. Adriel, Tarask and the nuns. The nuns assume the other two represent good and evil from heaven and hell, but that may not actually be the case.

Male heroes - Full training montage, broke bones, suffering for months on end, finally learns some vital lesson to better themselves both as a person and a fighter.
Female heroes - Little to no training, can already do everything without ever been trained to do it. Is often refereed to as The one. Protected solely by plot armour and the lives of those around them.

Looper, you mentioned the nuns not staying out of prison in the real world but you are forgetting that 1, the Italian authorities have no jurisdiction in Vatican City, as it is a separate state led by the Pope, and 2, the nuns would be viewed as heroes for defending the Vatican and possibly the Pope

I thing there is a another scene worth mentioning in this video. In the end of the last episode Andriel whisper something to Father Vincent, like a new task or something. Father Vincent does not take any action during final fight, just hide in the crowd.

OK so we know that Ardriel is somehow connected with his armor and Michael has divinium in his blood so this way Adriel is speaking to him. But what i don't understand is why Adriel has a connection to divinium if its made out of Tarask's body?
