DC's Biggest Failures You May Have Forgotten About

Comic fans agree that DC has made some major mistakes in the past, both in the comic books that made them famous, and the video games, TV shows and movies that have been adapted from them. Some of the company's biggest comic failures include the DC Explosion marketing gimmick, Wonder Woman: Amazons Attack, and All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder. Outside of the comics, there's legendarily bad video game Superman 64, as well as the original attempt at a Justice League movie. Fans spend a lot of time focusing on the present triumphs and failures of DC, but there's a rich history of peaks and valleys to discuss with this company. These are DC's biggest failures you may have forgotten about. The DC Implosion 0: 00 Justice League of America 1: 33 Superman N64 2: 48 Catwoman 3: 53 Green Lantern 4: 49 Justice League: Heroes United 5: 50 Superman IV: The Quest for Peace 6: 42 Batman and Robin 7: 49 Amazons Attack 8: 47 All-Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder 9: 44 Jonah Hex 10: 52

Yeah the source material of Jonah hex, seemed really really obscure for them to go big screen with in the era of the transformer's movies. I love the material, Jonah hex is one of my all-time favorite comics, I think Josh brolin was a great pick for it and had it been done properly, it could have been decent but the end result that we were given was terrible. I still enjoy watching it, just because of my history with the comic book but it is pretty poor.

Jonah Hex is one of my favorite characters and the movie was a different take on the character. Josh Brolin was perfectly cast and I will watch the movie every now and again. But as I have noticed with Looper lately is the lack of research or the intentional deceiving of your audience. Ex. Jonah Hex in the movie did NOT bring back the dead, he could communicate with the dead at a price to himself. BIG DIFFERENCE

I grew up in the 80s and 90s, so the dc cartoons like x-men, batman spiderman justice league etc, so when you see them being made into films, it's like Christmas birthdays all in one, then they change storyline and characters and how they die and then come back, if your gonna do it least follow the original storyline

Batman & Robin could've worked if there was no Batgirl(and Joel Schumacher did NOT read the comic. Alfred's Niece? REALLY)and a better director. Green Lantern was just Miscast all around and Parallax should've been used for the Second film and Hector Hammond? not intimidating at all/

Batman and Robin was bad because too many villains? Tell that to some of the marvel movies that were great they had multiple villains but they did it right. Will say this though Batman and Robin wasn't as bad as people think there were some good moments it just ok.

yes, as awful as Zac Snyder was with his take on DC, it wasn't Superman4- heck, cut off the last half hour and Man of Steel is possibly the best superman film. just have the fight occur without all that collateral damage and not have Zod be killed by Kal-El.

neither green lantern or all star batman and robin are nearly as bad as people make them out to be, the comic had amazing art and was a fun elseworld story. nothing else. green lantern had a bad final enemy but otherwise was a great movie.

I think they need to get someone who can read a script properly. Not only mispronouncing names but who says one fourth? It's a quarter, everyone says a quarter.
