It's clear whoever made this never watched any of the Transformers series. None of the later shows have done plots remotely similar to Beast Wars. Part of that was because restrictions of the time mandated the show could not be set in the present day with any human characters, so we had it set in the past.

What floors me is when people claim The Mask was annoying but in the same breathe claim Freakazoid was a great show. I mean, seriously? Freakazoid was one of most irritating, annoying, incoherent doofuses in cartoon history, yet somehow the much more effective and funny, Mask is always called annoying.

90's cartoon should be analyzed by 90's gen only. Back then we did best with what we got and i have zero complains. looper please don't give this responsibility to teenagers who grew up with technology. They won't understand the sentiments behind it all.

Doug may be 'boring', but that doesn't mean that it was a bad show. It just didn't age very well is what they're saying. I loved how the sound effects were made by mouths in that show and that, really has stuck with me for my entire life.

Doug was similar to the show, The Wonder Years. It was about a kid coming of age, going through puberty. The tone of the show was more cerebral than action. I was never bored when I watched it. In fact, I was glad when it was on.

Just want to say Beast Wars is one of the best Transformers series. Has some great characters and story moments. Waspinator is my all time favorite predacon. Yes the visuals are dated, but it adds to the charm.

Seriously, The Mask is one of the funniest cartoon shows of the 90s. The writing is basically lampooning all things Hollywood and Rob Paulsen was legendary in voicing the titular character.

Doug is not boring. Its just captures childhood and growing up through lots of obstacles, and you call that boring! It is not boring. Its one of the greatest Nickelodeon shows of all time.

i actually liked the Iron Man series when I was a kid. something about seeing the different kinds of armor Tony Stark used over the course of the series. aaaahhh. the nostalgia. :)
