Spielberg might be the single best director of all time at making movies that stand the test of time. Pretty much every one of his movies hold now just as much as the time they were released. While there are many ways of defining and crediting the talent and quality of a director, I believe that may be the best way of gauging the quality and impact of a director.

For Brachiosaurus to reach that size need at least 150 years.
For T-Rex to reach that size need at least 100 years.
So for Jurassic Park to follow common sense and real science Spielberg need to put the film to 22nd century like Avatar year 2154.
But he decided to scrap it and make it as crazy as what science fiction really was.

I love all Jurassic Park movies the first being all time favorite movie. Jurassic Park 3 is the worst but as some good parts I love the pteradon scene but most of that movie feels like a cheap knock off. I actually love the lost world it has its flaws but I like that it has a different vibe than Jurassic Park.

I still think JP 3 outdoes JP2, even with its terrible faults. It's just more fun. The 2nd one is, as the video mentioned, lofty and Spielberg getting ahead of himself. I'm glad it was rebooted because it really needed it. Still, that spinosaurus was awesome. So were the flying dinos.

It's rare to hear a mega-famous, billionaire Hollywood director get real and to the point about his bad films. It's a little soul-sucking to hear that he thinks of films as profit vehicles, but at least he's honest with it in addition to being honest about a bad sequel.

The Lost World is an amazing book!
It's lot different from the movie. The book's ending is satisfying and honestly made me feel relaxed.
I'd definitely recommend! Crichton didn't try to show he was forced to write the book. XD

Not an American, or English person. The first Hollywood movie I watched was Jurassic Park, and I will always cherish the movie. It always will have a special spot in my heart. It's a perfect movie at least in my opinion.

Jurassic Park the original one was always the best one the rest are just cash Grabbers but whatever they're fun to watch on bootleg I'll never pay for a DVD of any of these films I rather have them all on bootleg

So with all the smart people working on the script they still went with bringing dinosaurs back to life with present day amphibian dna even though dinosaurs were reptilian?

I never get bored of watching the original JP. Always a classic. The velociraptors are my favorites but are scary as hell. I'll just admire them from afar, thanks.
