After seeing this film it was a time loop as well as a palindrome with Neil saving the protagonist in the beginning as well as in the end of the film. But you also get the sense of creating a rebirth creating a new timeline. What I loved was the idea of the turnstile as the device that they were using with them using the inversion process of reverse entropy. In a way you kind of creating a paradox when you see yourself. The forwards in time and backwards in time are nicely distinguished but from an audience point of view you see the when for example Sator moves backward in time he was moving forward when they show it from his point of view and same goes with the Red tag soldiers and Blue Tag Soldiers. Neil towards the ending of the story died but then used the turnstile again to move forward in time in the end to save the Protagonist.

Saw the film last night, was kinda confusing but got it in the end, go backwards to go forwards, brilliant concept, a few years ago there was a rumour going around that the reason technology has moved so fast is that people from the future came back to the past 1939 and gave us the technology to go forward so fast.
Think about it we had pc s in less than 40 years after WWII.
Now artificial intelligence and life are the norm.
Makes you wonder hmm

This was the first time I predicted most of it as it was happening and pretty much fully understand with one watch. But with Nolan's movies you actually feel more of the bounds and emotions between people the 2nd or 3rd watch. The friendship with neil I didn't realize until the end obviously. This video reminded me of the the little things neil did to show he had a bond. I got a feeling next time I watch this it will hit me a bit harder at the end: '(

The one thing I wasn't sure about in this movie was near the end. How come Kat wasn't wearing a mask when she killed sator? She had gone back in time or was inverted wasn't she? Can they time travel without being inverted?

I think Neil is the young Son of Sator from the future to help the Protagonist for thanking him in response of helping him and his mother until the very end by protect them from the assasination.

Its a Christopher Nolan film. Expect the unexpected. I watched Tenet last night and was confused as hell but loved it all the same.
Will need to watch it again to truly appreciate this film.

I saw Tenet five days ago and wasn t disappointed. This video definitely lends some much needed clarity to the events that occurred during the movie though. It makes me want to see it again.

Idk if it s just me but after Neil reveals to protagonist that he recruited him in the future and then we see kat and her son walking, it made me feel like Kats son is Neil.
