There is yet more evidence that you really can't go home, even if that is where your dreamy-eyed mom lives, as it looks like we won't be going back to Back to the Future any time soon. And while we've certainly heard as much from Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Fox, and director Robert Zemeckis, the news now comes from two beloved supporting actors: Claudia Wells and James Tolkan.

I had a dream. about Back to the Future 4. in my dream it was a trailer I watched. Doc was Old as he is now. minding his own business. and out of nowhere. you hear a loud noise. Marty literally pops out of nowhere. in front of him. out of thin air. this time. Marty tell Doc. Doc. WE NEED YOUR HELP DOC. ITS IMPORTANT YOU COME WITH ME. Doc asks where is the DeLorean. where is the time machine? . Marty says My suit I'm wearing is the time machine Doc. no time to explain. . he hugs Doc. and they both just disappear. screen goes black. and you see the logo. BACK TO THE FUTURE 4

I would never want to see a remake but I am inspired, however, by my fellow cosplayer Matthew Bell who looks like he could be Michael J. Fox's kid! Even our friend Claudia Wells agrees on this one! Go search him and tell me he couldn't portray Marty and Jennifer's son. possibly embarking on his own adventure through time after being assisted by an aging Doc Brown due to a deep friendship with his father Marty.
Not saying it's perfect, but it gets me thinking. Back From The Future, or something to that effect. Lol

I think the only logical 4th movie would involve Marty's kids. or grandkids. Doc Brown's kids. or grandkids show up from their time traveling antics aboard Doc Brown's time traveling locomotive and Marty's kids. or grandkids hop aboard and go on an adventure. blah, blah, blah.
That storyline would be the best, but it would sound far too much like other movies. The Back to the Future trilogy ended forever as a trilogy. If anyone wants to relive the adventure. BUY THE BLURAY BOX SET!

This is no surprise. Even if you watch the behind the scenes of clear back when 3 wrapped shooting, when asked if there was a possibility of a 4th one, they made a point to say that this was it. It's done. Even if there ever had been any thought or temptation of reviving the franchise for a 4th installment later, I think they would've seen the results of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and thought, Yeah. We don't want to be that. We're good. Let's leave it alone.

Good because modern Hollywood would find every way possible to screw this great franchise. I think we're only getting extremely lucky with Ghostbusters Afterlife because not even the studios can make Jason Reitman screw up his dad's legacy. If Terminator Dark Flop is anything to guy by Hollywood needs to leave the great franchise's of the past as exactly that. The great franchise's of the past.

I agree there should not ever be a fourth Back to the Future.
The only thing that could be acceptable is if someone does a movie that pays fan service to BTTF. Like, perhaps a story of a kid in the same universe as Marty McFly who has heard of him as a legend and goes on his own adventure. It shouldn't be a retelling of the same story, but a new story with maybe a few elements of the original.

I can't believe people are still convinced that there will be a fourth, Back to the Future, movie when it has been said - time and time, and time and time, and time and time again - that there will NOT be a fourth movie!
I love, BTTF, as much as anyone else. But it's past time for people to take the hint and let it be!

It has been way too long since the third movie came out. The whole original trilogy is a MASTERPIECE! A fourth movie could ruin the legacy. A reboot is also totally unnecessary. In my opinion there is no actors or actresses that could ever take the place of the original ones. The original trilogy is already so perfect.

I am content with the trilogy as is with the comic as a nice compendium. Fun fact I waited for BTTF 2 patiently as a teen and when it finally came out i skipped school rode my bike 3 miles and bought a ticket to be the only patron in the theater! Classic good times! You cannot recreate that in this modern setting.

that video game mentioned at the end, if you go through the entire thing it is like 8 hours or so, however, some guy actaully edited it all out to cut out repetiviness so it is smoother and created BTTF 4 and 5 and it is very excllently done. bob gale himself was hugely involved inthe video game production
