The introductory Comic-Con 2015 Suicide Squad trailer hinted at a hauntingly gritty movie, set to an eerie rendition of I Started a Joke. It left the viewer taut with ominous anticipation, along with a sinking feeling that survival rates would be low, successfully capturing the ethos of Suicide Squad comic books.
Josue: Again, Just like BvS and Justice League, this is another one of those cases where the studios did not want to back off. I hate this movie, but it is a shame that Ayer's vision wasn't fulfilled properly, maybe the Ayer Cut will be released in HBO Max just like the Snyder Cut. Date: 2020-09-30
