The Mortal Kombat games need to improve the gameplay by making it less juggle emphatic. More emphasis on standing combos. That can be achieved by making every characters basic combo strings longer(4+ in the very least, restanding strikes/combos, stuns that restand(scorpion spear and Kollektor bolas, Kiss of Death by Sonya. The less juggling there is the more the fight looks and feels like an actual fight and the less ridiculous it looks. That's just me tho. Juggling often looks ridiculous with very few exceptions.

My theory is that Cole will end up being Johnny Cage. When the battle is done, we'll learn that Cole is his middle name and his first name is actually Johnny. He'll decide to go into acting because he is so famous. He initially wants to go by his first and middle name Johnny Cole, but will be convinced that it isn't a badass enough name, so since he is a cage fighter, the name Johnny Cage is decided upon.

It's okay that Jax loses his arms early before the MK battles takes off. Older storylines made losing his arms the cause that he met nurse Vera, his future wife, and had a daughter. Making it substantial part of the MK story was a buzzkill.

Something I noticed during the trailer was during the scene Liu Kang summons the fire dragon, the guy he is fighting has a mask and two hook swords. Very similar to Kabal.
