It really seems like Comic Book movies are the only movies that are able to break the rule that sequels are usually worse than the originals. There are a select few films that dont fall into this trap that dont fall under the Comic Book movie category, but most Comic Book movies generally get better with sequels. Given the history is already written and the producers and directors just have to modernize or add things that make the movies more rich, detailed and developed, Superhero films are just awesome because the stories tend to snowball into one epic, emotional journey that we all endure.

Captain America: The First Avenger, The Batman, Superman II, Deadpool, The Rocketeer, Wonder Woman, X-Men: First Class, Joker (an Oscar worthy film) and Captain America: Civil War aren't better than Scott Pilgrim vs The Rest of The World? And, some of the pictures of your lineup aren't consistent with the movies discussed. Finally, it would be nice if you put a number and letter grade along with your Top 55 grade, hopefully your an American company, so you know what I am referring to.

This list is so wrong in so many ways, please someone who agrees with me, the dark knight is OVERRATED, it s not even close to be the best superhero movie of all time and I m gona tell you why, it sucks the essence of what a comic book superhero movie should be by being obnoxious and pretentious and I m not saying it s a bad movie, on the contrary it s a a very good thriller but to be called the greatest superhero movie ever made it s ridiculous

I think every movie in this list deserves its place. Each one of them is a good blend of overall movie quality, critical reviews, audience reception and box office returns except for Iron Man 3. Instead one could easily place MCU movies like Doctor Strange, Shang-Chi, Antman & the Wasp or DC classics like Swamp Thing, V for Vendetta, Justice League Flashpoint Paradox, Batman Under the Redhood, etc. or Obscure movies like Kick-ass

What! A list of The 55 Greatest Superhero Movies Ever Made and Flash Gordon is not only isn't at the top of the list but not even mentioned! I mean after all every man, every woman and every child owe him for saving us. Even-though he's just a man with a man's courage, you know he's nothing but a man who can never fail. We'd all be bowing to emperor Ming if Flash hadn't saved us!

Overall, the list is solid, but there are some flaws.
1. The Batman should be in the top 15
2. Watchmen and Kick Ass should both have made the list
3. Iron Man was better than Iron Man 3
4. Captain America: Civil War and Dark Knight Rises belong in the top 25
5. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 should switch places

A little disappointed not to see Kickass in there somewhere. Kickass 2 may not be as great but the original is excellent. Also a little disappointed in myself that there are four that I haven't seen. :D But very pleased to see Mystery Men there - a movie I have been enthusiastically recommending whenever anyone starts talking about superheroes.

You have FIFTY-FIVE superhero movies on this list AND NOT A SINGLE PUNISHER FILM? For shame!
Dolph Lundgren did an incredible job with not the best script. Thomas Jane was good, so was Ray Stevenson. But the best possible Punisher film would've been Dolph Lundgren in War Zone. But at least one of them should be on there.

Literally every Batman movie, even the Schumacher, this list is a joke. Not completely wrong, but clearly in an insane order. I'm surprised they didn't add the Fantastic 4 reboot just to make it full out garbage.
PS if all the Batman films are that great, Why is it never expanded, just rebooted every 2 yrs

No. 50, Big Hero 6 has to be one of my favorite Disney superhero movies based on a Marvel Comic especially since it even earned a follow-up animated series that I wish can get a revival on Disney Plus one day and even a Disney+ show about Baymax!
