This theory just occurred to me after catching up on the show, but I just remembered how the Mindflayer used Will, and Billy (under the direction of Henry of course, but his body was damaged, healing or not, if he wants to speed up, wouldn't he need a new host as well, and this is where I think that Henry/Vecna might use Eddie as a host (which does in a way bring him back) because those bites that were inflicted on him weren't venomous and he would be considered a fresh vessel wouldn't he? After all what's a few bites that Vecna/Henry can't heal. It might be dark but that would be a way to bring Eddie back, and it is a possible theory since Eddie's body is still in the Upside down. Either way I look forward to it.

OK, so I saw a plot hole, or inconsistency, whatever. If El entered Max's dreams in order to fight Vecna, as she kind of explained with her stick figures on the Van's window, how come she was still there when Max died. She should have gone back to her own consciousness, as Max is dead and while dead, her mind would be insufficient to keep El there. It would have been more realistic for that to happen, then she goes back via Lucas to jump start Max's unbeating heart. I think the Duffers took a bit of licence there.

It s based on the Montauk project and the Philadelphia experiment if you read about both of them basically explains everything about Stranger Things next season they re gonna go back in time and everything that happens in season four they re going to reverse because they can t have the town know about the upside down and I ll save Max Eddie Chrissy and everyone who died so in season five it ll all be over and then the military won t be after 11 neither it s like they have to go back in time

In Vol 2, we saw vecna after being thrown into the upside down, exploring the planet, which looked nothing like Earth. Indicating that it might not be earth from a different dimension but a whole different planet maybe in another galaxy. Maybe vecna built hawkings town, in the upside down, as a map on how to attack it and get to elleven

I am a bit curious as to the gates. How far did Fred travel from the trailer park? All four are from different parts of town. Did one of them do a long curve just to make an X? Or did Fred simply walk a great distance to get to the road where he dies.
