It's about the government trying to kill people off to save resources (Thanos solution, like money. It's not entirely race. Though there are many people of color living in hoods and near poverty, there are also white people. If you've watched the movie, you would've seen a couple of white people in the hood too. There were some people dressed as the KKK, because people of color are scared of that. Just like dressing as Hitler shows the genocide of poor people. It's really government vs poor. If it was white vs black, ALL white people would've been okay with this. In the series, including this movie, there are several white people that disagree with the Purge entirely and have said it's wrong. This is not about dividing people by race, it's a economic class war.

The problem for me with this movie, was that there was not enough of the horror aspect. There was more of the government political aspect. And dont get me wrong I dont mind that. But when you base your whole movie around that it gets boring. The first purge movie, with the family was good, it kinda showed what people did during the purge. The 2nd I liked also showed what citizens did, and had enough horror. 3rd was a complete remake of the 2nd. What they shouldve done in this one, was have a backstory of the white guy that helps everyone in the 2nd and 3rd movie how is son got killed and his problem. While adding more horror and the trying to survive from these crazy people aspect. Focused on like a family or somethign

READ ALL! For all you guys saying this movie was horrible, the storyline was good. This movie had government messages, and showed how quick the government turned on that woman that started this experiment but then rebelled. The white people started to kill the low class people once the government saw that blacks and Hispanics weren't killing each other. The government killed low class people, meaning people that were on government assistance. They bought in military, KKK and other white groups to white the low class people. the election day movie was also about political stuff, but the others were about getting back at people that have either done wrong or just to rob them.

I find it funny how when people bring up inequality or signs of racism its automatically placed to be some type of liberal agenda. people are so blinded by what some minoritys have to deal with on a daily basis with unfair treatment work, school and their own neighborhood. We basically are told to be silent on obvious issues and to completely ignore our own feelings just so some of yall can feel comfortable all the time. The US cant cover up those old wrong doings all the time. our country has flaws

The term Liberal has nothing to do with black folks. Liberals and Conservatives are just white supremacists fighting over control over resources. I'd wish black people would understand that and let them have their water without us.

This was my favorite out of the entire series honestly. The only thing I honestly kinda had a problem with was that they had a drug kingpin and his foot soldiers out gunning ex-militia. Other than that, solid movie.

I would shit myself if a purge happened but I would probably hide in my attic with alot of ammo with a shotty and a silenced smg. My top rules for a purge is to never go outside. Keep your lights off, dont trust anyone.
