Let's just be honest that every piece of SUPERHERO content containing a female as the main leading star had failed. Imagine Wong being the connective tissue for most of the phase 4 MCU movies, leading upto Secret Wars. And they kill him off in the main Secret Wars movie, just like they did to Coulsan in first Avengers movie. That would suck a lot.
