Carlton: The reason why we never got the hulk the way we deserved in the movies is because of the contract with universal. They owned the rights and only allowed minimal use of the character. Marvel did an amazing job based of the stipulations. Universal renegotiated the contract once they saw how much money it made

Banner staying by himself makes sense. No one else on the planet has to maintain control over a force that could literally spilt the world in two of it so desired. Not to mention the anger and sadness banner felt after the snap would have probably made for a hulk that was more like hulk squared in strength

1: 16 Honestly glad this didn't happen. It would get very annoying very fast and the MCU itself is more grounded, so few and far between fourth wall breaks kinda makes more sense.
