I absolutely loved this movie. Saw it in IMAX 3-D with my girlfriend who hadn t seen the original in 13 years and we both walked out so happy. There is one point about this franchise I have discussed with my friends that doesn t totally makes sense. In times of great peril, Ewya can be called to send every single creature on this planet into battle. So shouldn t the natives have a permanent get out of jail free card when it comes to humans? I actually think it makes sense in this movie, because the humans are not trying to eradicate the natives, this was a much more personal story than the first movie. Things can only ramp up from here, yes, they won against ONE giant ship and a bunch of smaller ships. We know the knew human base is huge, untouchable. In the last movie, the humans gave everything they had against the natives. In this movie, it looks like they gave about 5% of what they really have. One gunship, and not even a gunship, a whaling vessel. I actually think the intimacy of the combat and action sequences were a big plus for this movie. I will definitely be seeing it again.

I saw the 2nd Avatar, the movie was not very good mainly due to the story being bad, Avatar ended in Avatar 1. If you like great visuals, you will like this movie, but don't expect much else.
They released a book filling in the information? Totally reminds me of the new Stars Wars movies, how they left the important information off of the screen, then expected us to figure out everything from buying a book. Keep the important info on screen, then tell all other the information off screen.

Ok Looper I have a question why are all the avatars the natives of Pandora? I mean can't they clone any other creature and share a consciousness of that creature? like for example predatorial Creatures on Pandora could they share a consciousness with that creature? or is it only intelligence lifeforms that have a human level understanding intellect? so lifeforms with the same understanding as us because I mean I would experimented with everything.

Such a dissapointment. didn't have any high expectactions and yet it still dissapointed me lol. snoozefesg. 30min to long in the Middle act and the story was basically the same as the first movei but with water instead of Air combat lol. beautifull but that is all it was
