Gunn can say whatever he wants, it's actually fans that'll answer the question whether he was right or not. There were not many bright spots in the DCEU in the past few years and he's managed to get rid of at least two of them in Momoa and Gadot. It's been so long since Man of Steel that Henry can no longer be counted, the Justice league debacle has not helped much. To be honest, I wish him luck, but based on Suicide Squad which is not that much better than the first, one can only wonder how long his tenure will be and if not caring about the fans will play out for Gunn. With SHazam2 that should be fine, but the potential s t storm that is Ezra Miller and future bomb of The Flash (who wants to go see a movie that'll be meaningless in a dead universe, he better start pushing out entertainment or I see a dark furture ahead for Gunn. I'll perhaps watch on HBOMAX when they come out, but I doubt I'. ll go see and DC movie anytime soon.

To be honest, whatever they come up now won t matter if they ignore the fans. They will still earn, that s for sure but they won t earn as much as they could have because of this issue with the cast. They have been in years with movies and they don t still value what fans want. Good luck! Take note - I will still watch whatever happens because of the story not because of the cast and there is a high chance that is what management feels. People will still watch regardless. Sad reality. The coin is, I will watch it free. we need to move on. But dang.

Yeah these two geniuses will make it for a modern audience. It will be less than stellar. They will call the fans that are going to be NON fans of this garbage. The Modern audience won't appear. (it never does, now does it) So you know who cares. These 2 are failures out of the gate far as I am concerned and they don't care. Cool. My money is better spent elsewhere.

I think what Gunn is doing is a bad plan. A younger superman. And recasting all the actors I've personally grown attracted to. With all these teamups and possibilities left on the table. And going at the fans you expect to go see your movies. I for one am just done with DC. This is just so not for me. But to each their own.

I have no issue with changing up actors for DC and I have thought they should for a while now (especially Ezra Miller, I have always thought his casting was really bad)but getting rid of Henry Cavil is extremely dumb. I can't see anyone being a better Superman much less look like the perfect Superman.

I liked Cavil too but I'm glad Gunn is sticking to his. .. well, guns. He and the new leadership obviously have a vision of what they want to do with these characters going forward I want them to be able to carry them out how they see fit without interference from studio or fans for once.

So this is what you do about them. saying they are not being affected by the tweets. Don't go to any of the movies so they dint generate the wealth. Money is the language in Hollywood and to these elitist. Take money out their mouths and they will change.

So Gunn wants to do a movie based on a younger Superman; guess he has never seen smallville or Louise and Clark, maybe Gunn can't come up with anything new and has to recreate, instead of using the hot star that is current.

The turbulence was of Gunn s own making by disrespecting Cavill. I don t think DC fans look forward to seeing Superman getting the Guardians of the Galaxy treatment. WB has made a major mistake.

I like James Gunn but firing Henry he better have a great replacement in mind and do good by DC or he will bring down a house of cards that s been shaky for awhile now.

Im not a huge DC movie fan but Cavill has been a bright spot for otherwise weak offerings. I feel they did him dirty especially after giving up lead for The Witcher.

I agree, only a minority are upset by the hard reset but only better the majority gave up on DCEU a long, long time ago. So who is actually happy about the change?
