I used to be a star war fan. The last two movies killed Starwars. In fact, my son was reluctant to watch The Rise of Skywalker because he had no expectation at all. Now I think Rian Johnson was a genius who effectively killed Starwars. It is a great blessing to SF geeks because it opens up a big door to other materials. For instance, Dune the new movie coming out at the end of 2020 will have a better chance to become a successful movie given that Starwars is dead. I would love to see something new and great. The death of Starwars helps.

Another Easter Egg as Rey starts hearing the Jedi voices. Did anyone notice the starscape shot during that moment is the opening crawl shot from A New Hope? If you watch the scene and compare that starscape shot to A New Hope's opening crawl, you'll notice it's the same shot. Only in Rise of Skywalker, they rotate the shot as the voices are heard.

There is an Easter egg that you missed. So basically if you look in the background at the part where all the resistance ships are fighting the star destroyers you can see the mandalorian's ship and a few other ships aswell
