Sometimes being a nerd can ruin movies! The actual Morphine bottle she carried is Morphine in the dose 5mg/ml. She didn't have 20ml of morphine for Ransome to switch with the Ketorolac. Also, the Ketorolac comes (almost always) at 30 mg/ml. There is no reason fo her to have given him more than 2ml (60mg) of Ketorolac. If swapped with that Morphine, she would have accidentally given him 10mg of Morphine tops (rather than 100, which would probably not have killed him.

Is it just me, or did Harlan seem to know that someone had already switched the meds before Marta mixed them up, seeing that he wasnt feeling the effects? He seemed to be thinking that someone was trying to kill him, and Marta was going to be framed. I think he knew that even if he survived that night, a second attempt would be made and Marta would be framed again.

What if this is all Ransoms plan. i mean what if he wanted to have Marta all without any suspicion. he switched medicins just to blame it all on him. even though he did said he wanted to see his family get destroyed and made a false confession. just look at his smile and face when the police was taking him to the police car.

How did no one notice such a glaring flaw in the movie. When the movie starts we are told morphine overdose can kill you in 10 minutes. How did ransom meet Fran literally 10 minutes before marta. He was with the police. And previously he was with marta since morning

I would have rather just watched this recap then the time wasted on the movie. It's obvious and underwhelming. Not a funny moment in it. And nothing to figure out. I actually left before the ending realizing that it wouldn't be worth sticking around for.

why is no one talking about the scene when Ransom STABS Marta but theres no blood? Like? And theres a metal sound when she gets stabbed? Is this not important? Its not touched in the movie and im wondering if i imagined it or something.

this movie is good, but it doesnt have a twist as they say, i think that apart from the MARTA girl who couldnt lie for obvious reasons, everyone else could be the culprits even chris evans.

i only came to know why marta had that condition where she puked every time she lied, ranson mentioned something about it but they never elaborated it further.

Second most over-rated film of the year. 15 mins of plot stretched for two hours, with a ton of on-the-nose jokes. Daniel Craig and Michael Shannon were had good performances though.
