Star Trek Picard's Borg Queen Is Unrecognizable Without Makeup

Any Trek fan could instantly tell it wasn't Krige and there was a bit of a disconnect for me.
Although not tied to Picard, I wouldn't have minded if Susanna Thompson stepped in and did the voice and the physical if Krige couldn't or wouldn't do both. I prefer the one recognizable actress to do both.

I think Alice said that she would never put on that makeup again. But this episode while very good and entertaining, left me with a bunch of questions. Why does the Borg Queen change bodies every time we see her and miraculously survive? The Borg must have a good save soul system in place. We got the original Borg Queen in First Contact that was smoked out of existence and then her head was snapped if I'm recalling right. Totally disabled, unplugged, and dead. Then the Queen reappears on ST: Voyager played by another actress. Then in the finale, she gets replaced by the original actress from First Contact, loses an arm and a leg, and gets blown up. Then we see her again in Season 2 of Picard as a whole new entity from an alternate timeline and we see Jurati taking her place leading a clan of friendly Borg that want to join the Federation in the real timeline. Fast forward to Season 3, and we get the dying, rotting collective queen played by a new actress: Jane Edwina Seymour, but with a VO from Alice Krige, the original Queen in First Contact. This queen has two arms attached, and even though she's rotting to death, has perfectly white and shiny teeth--let's hear it for the Borg Toothbrush--and apparently lived through an explosion of the last collective queen. Are you as confused as I am? This is almost as bad as Jason in Friday the 13th.

It's still darn good, I was jumping up and down like Tigger on a pogo stick when she turned up, and whooping from excitement and tears when I was actually right and the Enterprise was there Infront of my eyes in all its glory! I was born in the sixties and Kirk and the Enterprise were always my favourite growing up, that was until Captain John Luke Picard and the rest of his crew arrived and even though Voyager was also good and the films etc, Picard and his motley crew of Clingons ex Borg Vulcans even Data and Dr Beverly Crusher, they were and always have been the trekkers that made it more realistic, modern and acted out each episode as if it was real!

Janeway has the title of Borgslayer and everytime the borg show up near Janeway they hear the doom track The only thing they fear is you as when Janeway infected the borg with the virus in the last episode of Voyager she did indeed do so much damage that the borg are actually by Picard S3 EP 10 dead and the borg mothership is the only remaining active ship

I have a question. If Picard s body is that of an Android, like Data after his death, how did he jab that Borg wire in his neck and connect with the Borg matrix? Can that wire turn my coffee pot into a borg drone?
