Actors That Got Really Defensive About Their Box Office Bombs

Nobody likes a bad movie, but nobody hates a flop any more than the stars themselves. Whip out some rotten tomatoes, because these major movie stars got defensive over their box office bombs. Bradley: Saying people are homophobic because they weren't interested in Bros is pathetic and lazy. Who cares about critically acclaimed. Proclaiming if we need to watch a movie or we're some kind of phobic, is a great way to get your movie ignored.

I thought _Morbius_ was. okay. and that Matt Smith brilliantly stole the film.
I _liked_ the poorly titled _John Carter_ (and still want my own Woola); the original book inspired most sci-fi ever since it was written. _Star Wars Attack of the Clones_ lifted straight from _John Carter of Mars, _ not the other way 'round.
I did very much hate the Johnny Depp _Lone Ranger_ film, as I'd grown up listening to the original old radio shows, and the in-syndication Clayton Moore TV series and movies, so when _its_ source material was thrown out the window, I just loathed the bad feature film attempt.

I'm confused by your definition of defensive. The people who were defensive were like Viola Davis who blamed racism and misogyny for the crap show that was The Woman King. These people are either accepting the movie sucked, saying they enjoyed their performance or that the movie became something different than what they expected. This whole video sucks

my current favourite joke:
P1: what you been watching on Netflix? the Watcher?
P2: what. The Watcher?
P3: I've been watching the Witcher?
P1: which? the Watcher?
P2: no, THE Witcher, I'm not watching the Watcher.
P3: FooK OFF ALL OF YOU.

VENOM had the writer from 50 SHADES OF GREY
MORBIUS had the writers from GODS OF EGYPT
And KRAVEN THE HUNTER has the writers from TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT
AVI ARAD doomed this cinematic universe the same way he doomed TASM series

John Carter was a great movie, and not confusing at all. Despite not being the huge blockbuster they were hoping for, 300M+ is a great tally. Plus, it has cultivated a big following in the years since.

What about John Travolta on his movie The Fanatic? He defended it and said it was his favorite movie. Not Saturday Night Fever, not Grease, not Pulp Fiction but, this movie smh.

What about that dude from Shazam. Didnt he blame everyone and everything before the movie was released. I assumed watching this he and that movie would be number one with a bullet.

I saw John Carter in the theatre and loved it. Always thought the movie deserved better. Critics loved Bros because if they didnt theyd be blasted for being homophobic.

Tbh in my opinion most movies people say flobed are insane. The amount of money movies make doesn't define it as a success or flob. Its if the fans like it.

Worst thing to do is battle the internet over how shit was the movie you were in, only making it worse and the internet will just be victorious

I predicted that AVI ARAD ruined MORBIUS the same way he ruined TASM2
And now he's gonna ruin BORDERLANDS, KRAVEN THE HUNTER and VENOM 3

This aren't bad movies. They seem pretty good. Catwoman is good movie. Not perfect, but it's pretty good. I agree about Bros
