They should've focus in some story line following the events of Salvation, exploring the relationship between John and Kyle and attaching all the loose links in order for some final salvation movie to be directly connected to how T1 began. TSalvation is so underrated and so full if little details.

People shouldn't blame TIM MILLER for the failure of DARK FATE
He was the director, not the writer
Killing John Connor was James Cameron's idea
Miller deserves another chance because he still got a lot to offer
He not only gave us DEADPOOL, but also SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, directed by his friend, Jeff Fowler
Also, have anyone seen LOVE, DEATH and ROBOTS?

but at this point I ain't Excited for Terminator 7! I at least supported Terminator 3 and 4 (Aka Rise of the Machines and Salvation) but Terminator 5 and 6 I'm thinking to myself. you killed the Horse and now your Beating it's Dead Corpse into the Ground! why haven't we see a Terminator 7? most likely it will Suck!

Dark fate wasn't bad but it forgot who the core audience was. Men, specifically white men. They killed off John Connor, if they had Edward furlong come back that would've been awesome. It's was very female centric. If they reboot, they just need to start with judgement day already happening

As a normal regular fan of the franchise, I don't mind seeing the movies that broke the timeline but if THE robot not wanting to return, then the franchise should die with him. You could still make content out of it, but only if you bring something new to the table

Because Genysis and Dark Fate sucked consecutive ass.
They need to simply go back to the Salvation timeline, adapt JMS' comic The Final Battle, and make that guaranteed 1 Billion already.

Honestly, T1, T2 extended Cut are really a Good end. T3, Salvation Follow a Dark What IF, So Does Genisis and Dark Fate. I love them all Dark or Light.
